“Tell me about yourself” He asked me
“Well before I moved here I lived with my mom and dad, I don’t have any siblings or pets” I told him while sitting up with my legs crossed and was fiddling with my hands
“What about your school life?” He asked me as h wrote what I was saying in a yellow notepad
“I switched schools a lot” I shrugged
“Why?” He asked me
I jolted a bit when he said that, Usually when teachers or classmates ask me why I constantly switched schools I always said something boring like “My dad got a new job so we had to move” or “We moved houses and I had to move schools” but since he was here to help I guess I couldn’t lie.
“I kept getting picked on” I answered dryly
I was expecting him to ask me for what but instead he just wrote it down and changed the topic.
“So in my notes it said you're here because you broke a boy spine” Professor Chiron asked me
“It was accident” I quickly said
“Okay, want to talk about it?” He asked me
I opened my mouth but immediately closed it. What's the point? My life is already ruined; My father hates me even more, My mother is disappointed in me, and now I’m stuck at a place where people think I’m some kind of violent killing machine.
“We don’t have too if you don't want to we can move on” Professor Chiron told me
“Thank you” I muttered
After we talked about ways to calm myself down and good coping mechanisms, It was all kinda nice and I liked being alone away from all the boys and it was also nice to have attention focused on me.
“Hey why do you have so many horse posters?” I asked him
“Oh I love horses, there so beautiful and free, I like to think in my last life I was a horse” He told me which made me smile
“That's really cool” I nodded while looking at the ground and played with my hair
As we talked we heard a knock at the door, Chiron walked to open the door and once again I saw Achilles who was holding a case that seemed to have an instrument inside.
“Hey ready for practice” Achilles Smiled and peeked in to see me and waved at him, I waved back weakly
“Wait out here, I’ll let you in in 10 minutes” He told him, Achilles nodded and Chiron closed the door
“You teach music?” I asked him
“Yes, I’m also the music teacher, I give Achilles personal lessons” He told him
Of course someone like him would talk personal classes, I bet he thinks he’s too good to be with the other boys. He must think that he's so talented and special that he couldn’t bear being in a room with anything as good as him.
“You teach music? Can anyone join?” I asked trying to get Achilles out of my head
Chiron smiled at me
