30 weeks came with it's appointment attached to it. I was almost there and it fucking terrified me, I was going to be someone's mother sooner rather than later.
Some little girl will look me in the eyes and call me mom, I don't think I'm capable of not screwing it up "your not going to" I turned my head to her
"Mind reader" I scoffed
"Charlie it's all over your face, come on everything's been so crazy the last few weeks and you have this insane thought in your head. You got ten weeks" Belle smiled as we entered the doctors office where Nate was waiting for us
"Come on, you got a new house and a baby coming. Let's not forget you are a married woman to a sexy ass husband, you are ADULTING!"
"Stop that right now!" I poked her side and she screeched

We entered the exam room "oh look you, all prepared" she stepped back staring at us "wow MOM AND DAD" Belle mused
"I mean I myself, feel like a proud parent" her hands went to her heart and face wiping fake tears "they just grow up so fast"
"Take a seat before you embarrass yourself"
"That's my specialty" she scoffed "Nate my famous brother in-law how are you today!"
"God I don't think I've ever seen her this cheery and it's scaring me" He mumbled into my ear
"Hey I heard that!"
"Is it not true, that sometimes your low key a gremlin?" She gasped and looked to me
"He just called me a gremlin!"
"He did just call you a gremlin, I can confirm. Did you have redbull this morning, remember our second cousin David's mercy meal? You had a little bit too much energy and excitement about someone's death" I raised my brows at her
"Okay, that was one time!" The door opened and Dr.Brown stepped in greeting us and taking a seat in her black circle spin stool
"We only have like one or two appointments til she's here Charlotte, you are almost at the finish line" i grimaced at the thought of it
"Don't freak me out" they laughed at me but I wasn't laughing, what the hell was I gonna do with a baby?
She placed the gel on my stomach and placed the Doppler and there was was displayed on screen moving slightly "wow... freaky" Belle whispered
"Rude"
"Look I'm all for being an Aunty, but carrying a baby seems like the scariest freakiest thing ever" Doctor Brown just laughed at her as I glared
"You say that now, but one day when your pregnant I'm going to patronize you so hard"
"She looks perfectly healthy for 30 weeks, perfect heart beat and growth, she is right on track" she handed me a cloth and refilled my prescription
