My head hurt and I felt hot but not uncomfortably. I wanted to open my eyes but I already felt the harsh light stinging my lids. Where the hell was I?

The itching sensation from the tape on my hand brought me to the reality of where I was, as I remembered the events that occurred. I slowly moved my hand away from whatever woven blanket it was attached to straight to my belly in fear of it being gone.

The bump still there and the feeling of her kicks caressing the inside of my belly giving me the reassurance of a lifetime. She was okay, I didn't need to know it all but I knew she was kicking.

I felt the plastic tube fill my nose with oxygen and the feeling of the taped in IV on my hand came to my attention once moving it to match my other hand. I knew it was bad without opening my eyes

I didn't want to see the surroundings I already visualized with the sound of the monitor flooding into my ears. But silence, no noise other than the beeping monitor filled my room.

I slowly opened them to see Leo passed out on the brown couch beside me. The thoughts of what happened to Niccolo, of Emma and Amara swarmed my mind. Where was he?

Was Nate okay? Why isn't he here? I looked around the gray room in panic as I felt my breathing suffer. I felt arms grip my shoulders and I turned my head to Leo towering over me "Calm down princess" he whispered

"Where is he?" I feared the answer "what happened to him" I felt the tears pool in my eyes as I stared at Leo who was desperately trying to keep me sane

"He's coming back, Nates okay... calm down"

"You calm down!" I yelled in which it startled him, I've never yelled at Leo "where is he?" I looked out the window, it just showed the city as the rain fell

"He's been here the whole time" he said slowly as I traced my eyes back to his "of course the second the bastard leaves for the first time you wake up!" He sighed sitting next to me

"How long was I out for, when did we get to New York City?" Did I imagine it all, did I have some episode, was I not in captivity?

"You've been here for five days" I felt my heart drop, five days "Nate hasn't left your side til about an hour ago, for the first time. Celine forced him to leave and get some food, shower" he pressed the red button beside me and a voice came through the button

"Mrs.Crawford has woken, we were wondering if you could send her doctor in" his voice was so professional, it almost made me laugh

"What's so funny, maybe you do have brain damage!" I shook my head

"Your tone was so serious, I think I was having an out of body experience. It honestly terrified me" he rolled his eyes and stood up slouching his body back into the brown leather couch

"Where's my phone? I need to call him" Leo swiped his phone off the tray and pressed a contact and placed it on speaker

"Leo is everything alright?" Celine's voice came through and a grin struck upon his face

"You guys should come back to the hospital" his voiced showed little emotion, but a hint of worry

"Is everything okay, is Charlotte all-" he ended the call as he chuckled, that little bastard!
