Silence reigned between them. Killer had no idea where to start, whether he should or run away without a word. Nightmare stared at Killer for answers, his cyan eye piercing the highest like a sharp dagger, which somehow made both of them uncomfortable. Killer for Nightmare's piercing gaze for the deafening silence, something Nightmare couldn't stand for long.

"I want answers, now!"

Nightmare sat across from Killer and in no time took her gaze off him. Killer felt the sweat trickle down his skull and countless thoughts raced through his head. This event was not in his plans, it probably changed something in the future, or worse! It might have ended it all. Killer soon berated himself for these thoughts, he was doing it again. He tried to remain calm, but his desperation was very clear. Nightmare could feel the desperation in Killer's small acts like the sweat on his face or his fingers tapping each other, but he was patient and would wait for some reaction from Killer, just for a few more minutes. Killer felt Nightmare's gaze leave him for a moment, which allowed him to relax, he would never have imagined that someone's gaze could be so frightening, but back to the point. Killer knew Nightmare wouldn't let him go that easy, the future was already ruined, he just hopes that when he tells him things don't get any worse.

"Can we at least get out of here?"

Killer asked awkwardly. People may find two people talking in the middle of the alley suspicious and this can cause another temporal disturbance. By Toby Fox! He was ruining everything. Nightmare thought for a moment. This could just be an excuse for him to run away, but given the situation they were in, it was better to talk in a private place.

"It's best not to try anything"

Nightmare alerted him, which made Killer nod in agreement. Nightmare was the first to get up and waited for Killer to do the same, when they were both standing Nightmare led the way to his house. Killer could feel Nightmare's gaze on him from time to time, it was clear he was suspicious, but because of the situation, he wasn't going to try anything, who knows what other problems it could cause. As they walked, Killer could see a little more of people's daily lives, something that made him see the changes that had taken place in these 200 years. Hygiene was undoubtedly the biggest change, the amount of garbage and sewage running in the streets made that place not so beautiful, you could also see how in the center the houses were more luxurious and the further away you were, the more different the condition was. of people's lives.

When they arrived. Nightmare started looking for the keys in his pocket, and Killer took the opportunity to see the house from the outside since he hadn't paid that much attention. The two-story house was rather simple. The walls were a light color and the windows were arched in dark wood. The door was also made of wood, but in a light color which highlighted the golden handle. A metal mailbox stood a few feet from the entrance. Something that gave life to the house was the flowering bushes that were below the windows, making the place more beautiful. The second floor didn't have a balcony, but it did have a small open area that simulated one. The chimney at the top indicated it had a fireplace, but he hadn't seen it yet.

Killer was so distracted that he was caught off guard by Nightmare dragging him into the house and sitting him on the couch. He just watched the shorter one go to the door again and close it, certainly so he wouldn't run away, something that was out of the question for Killer. It didn't take long for Nightmare to come back and sit at the low table in front of Killer.

"Where are you from?"

Nightmare asked crossing his legs and arms. Killer thought for a moment, how was he going to explain that he had come from the future? He tried and tried to think of some more believable way to explain it, but nothing came to his mind, so maybe he'd better speak without stalling too much.

"You may not believe it, but I came from the future"

"I believe you"

Nightmare's answer took Killer by surprise. Wow, who knew it would be so easy... too easy, had he made it so obvious that he was from the future?

"But how did you get here?"

"Well...I kind of accidentally created a time machine so 'boom' showed up here"

"What was that thing that was with you?"

Killer thought for a moment, thing? What was he talking about... ah yes, the cell phone. Killer then begins to rummage through his pants in search of his cell phone, which didn't take long and he hesitantly handed it over to Nightmare, who, having the object in his hands, went around the device a few times in search of something.

"That's a cell phone. It is used to call people, send messages, and do many other things. Everyone in the future has one, or even more than one"

Killer tried to explain as best he could, but still kept it simple so Nightmare could understand. Nightmare seemed very interested in the cell phone, it was similar to the phone in some ways, only much better and compact. Killer couldn't help but see Nightmare's curious gaze, not even kids in his day are that curious to see a cell phone, even those who never had one.

"What else do you have in the future?"

Nightmare asked even more interested. He was very curious to know what things were like at that time unknown to him, a time he probably couldn't witness. Killer thought for a moment, what could he say? There were so many things that even he didn't know where to start. Soon an idea comes to his mind, he could combine the useful with the pleasant and kill two rabbits at once.

"We can make a deal. You help me find my time machine, and I'll tell you all you want about the future, what do you think?"

Killer held out his hand and waited for Nightmare's response, who was thoughtful of the offer. Wait, had he lost the time machine? Well... at least it should be something big and easy to find. However, making deals with people from the future doesn't seem to be something to be trusted, but the curiosity was such that he couldn't refuse.

"Fine"

Nightmare spoke squeezing Killer's hand, who at that moment could see how small and soft his hand was. Who would have thought that someone as cold as Nightmare could have soft hands, even for a skeleton that was strange.

"Now, I want you to tell me more about the future"

Killer nodded and started to tell some things from the future, not exactly everything or extremely relevant things. Just the basics, which even then couldn't help but impress Nightmare. The two stayed for almost 3 whole hours talking, usually, Killer talking about the future and Nightmare just listening or telling some things that were similar to what Killer was talking about. Time passed so fast that they didn't even notice when it got dark. Nightmare made a simple dinner, as his brother wasn't coming today. Even though it's something simple, Killer can't help but feel amazed. After dinner, Killer washed the dishes while he and Nightmare talked, this time it was Killer who asked about some things from the past and the year they were in. He was in the late 19th century, which explained some of the things he'd seen.

Nightmare let Killer spend the night in the same room as before, which made him feel relieved that he didn't have to sleep outside. This time he let himself relax on the soft bed, his hopes of finding the watch growing stronger, especially now with the help of someone who knew the area. Sure, he might know a thing or two, but nothing better than someone from that era to help him out. That made something click in Killer's mind, and he grabbed his cell phone from the dresser beside him and went to the cell phone gallery, scrolling through some of the photos to a specific one. That was a picture of him and his two friends Horror and Dust, that day they had gone to a party and the three of them ended up drunk, he doesn't even remember when he took the picture, but he was happy to have that memory. He just hopes to see his friends again. Killer gave a small smile before putting his cell phone on the dresser and resting, tomorrow he would have a lot to do and he couldn't get tired.
