Everything's fast-paced today, everyone's in a hurry. It's a good thing that Aiah, Sheena, Gwen, and Stacey are here to help me with my things. I should at least wake up by 4 am to get everything done and go to the airport early. Now it's already 5:30 and kailangan pa naming bumyahe papuntang airport.

"Love, are you done there?" Aiah asked me. She's zipping my luggage since she's done with putting some of my things in there. "I guess we should go na.

"Yes, love!" I immediately get myself ready to leave the house.

Medyo mabigat." I told her.

"I can handle it, love. Nakakapagod ang flight mo later, so you should reserve that energy. 'Wag ka nang makulit."

I stomped my feet, still trying to get my things. "Love, I can handle—"

Sheena made a face to us, following Stacey together with Gwen.

I'm so lucky dahil walang traffic on the way there.

When we got there, we immediately headed to the departure area, kakaunti na lang kasi ang oras before the flight. I tried not to be emotional while facing them kahit na medyo kinakabahan ako na wala sila doon sa tabi ko, especially Aiah.

Stacey, Sheena and Gwen gave me a hug before saying goodbye. They told me to call whenever I feel homesick. Aiah, on the other hand, gave me a peck on the cheek. May inabot rin 'to sa'king letter. Hindi namin napag-usapan ang pag-alis ko ever since it was announced, maybe it is one of the reasons kung bakit mas naa-anxious akong umalis.

"I'm nervous, love. Baka 'di ko kayanin mag-isa do'n. Sama ka kaya?" I joked.

"If I could just go with you, Mikha." She said with a hint of sadness on her face. "Love, remember that your capabilities are greater than what makes you nervous, okay? You can always call me when some things seem to bother you. I always got your back and you got this, love."

Aiah's words never fail to ease the chaos in my mind, always. It always feels like her words have magic on it that any unwanted thoughts go away easily by just hearing it. With her, I can always be at peace and I am very much aware of that.

"I guess you should go na, love. Hindi pa ako nakuntento at humarap ulit sa kaniya, I gave her a tight hug before immediately running towards the departure area.

"I love you!" I shouted while running.

"Love. I'm hereeee!" I immediately contacted her right after I found a signal. She smiled at me from the screen of my phone and I feel like she's here with me.

"Yay!" She replied. "Go to your dormitory na, Love. Take a rest because you'll have a long day tomorrow. Tour me there in your free time, okay? Sorry, I got to go na, may errand eh."

"Yes, love. Take care, I love you!"

"I love you too."

Luckily, it was just a few meters away from the school where I was going to go to for a month kaya hindi ako magwo-worry kung maliligaw ako.

I talked to the landlady and she recognized me easily. I know that i can finally rest.

My eyes literally grew bigger because of shock. Don't tell me that she's my roommate?

"Colet!" I immediately went to hug her.

"Glad that you know each other, I'll go ahead now." the landlady said before leaving the two of us.

"So, ikaw pala 'yong tinutukoy nila na isa pang exchange student." She said. "Buti naman, it'll be hard to be with someone I don't know." she said.

"Oo, napakataray mo kaya. Mai-intimidate sila sa'yo." I replied.

"How's your flight?" She asked.

I pouted my lips, "okay lang naman. I didn't sleep the whole flight.

"Aiah, right? Or iba na?"

I nodded, "lol, it will always be Aiah."

"I see. Ever since before, patay na patay ka na sa kaniya eh."

Colet is our high school friend. She went to a different school in college kaya medyo nawalan kami ng contact sa kaniya.

"How are you pala? We're trying to reach you out last time, hindi ka naman namin ma-contact. Sabi ni Gwen, busy ka raw."

"Yeah, I'm coping up." She answered, emotionless as usual.

"Coping up? Did something happen?"

"Wala, nevermind. I thought you're going to contact Aiah?"

After that, I fixed my things, changed my clothes and get the rest that I deserve.
