Sonic had made it.
He made it, in time to see [Name] about to leave Earth: for good.
"No!" The hedgehog yelled, tackling down [Name], who was now visibly struggling and they kicked the hedgehog off from them.
"Off from me, hedgehog. I was merely, just--"
"About to leave?! But, why?"
"Leave? What are on this Planet's name are you talking about?" Confusion was drawn on both of the mobians' faces, as [Name] slowly got up and so did, Sonic.
"Uh, the ring portal-- and-and the letter that you left in your den? And, also: you left Spike at the doorstep!"
"...Oh. Right, I did an experiment. I believe, Tom and Maddie call it...a 'prank'?"

"Excuse me, what?!" Sonic's voice echoed throughout the forest, making a flock of birds fly away quickly.
"Mhm." [Name] nodded, scratching their head. "They explained what one was, and I decided to try it on out."
"Then, why the ring portal?!"
"Oh. I almost forgot, I was merely going to view over how my ' family ' are doing at the moment. Speaking of..--" They turned to look at the ring portal, but it had disappeared from the long amount of time it was there for. "Nevermind."
They let out an annoyed sigh, as Sonic immediately hugged them. [Name] stiffened up, not quite used to hugs yet, an invisible brow was raised from them because of this sudden action.
"Why perform the act of hugging me, hedg-- Sonic?"
Sonic quickly let go, and turned, starting his journey back home. "Oh? Uhm-- No-No, reason. Just wanted to." He muttered underneath his breath, before going back to his usual ludic self. "I'll race you back home! Last one there, has to get the winner chilidogs!"
He zoomed back home, as [Name] frowned deeply. "That is not justice-filled of you, Sonic! I have to trek back home..." A low gruff left the [Animal Name], as they started making their way back home.
