New Changes

Everyone went to their classes as normal, but Soma couldn't stop thinking about his younger twin. He didn't know what kind of torture his sister was going through, but he knew it couldn't have been good considering how Erina was treated along with his sister. 

By this time, everyone had heard about Erina's disappearance, but the news about Hikari remained quiet. To everyone else, she had just disappeared from thin air, which made of her friends very worried about what may have happened to her.

"A televised address?" Soma repeated after hearing the news from the Aldini brothers.

"Yeah, they said that the director is going to make an announcement." Isami said, "It's going to be broadcast all over the campus."

"But still for Erina to have left home, she must have some pretty big reasons to do something like that." Takumi added.

"But will she be okay staying there?" Isami asked, "If word gets out that she's holed up in the school dorms..."

"Hmmm, yeah. Hard to say." Soma answered, "Hisako's been coming around to bring her fresh clothes everyday, and Nakiri number two and Ryo have been stopping by as well. Still, it looks like her secret is safe."

The Aldini brothers didn't believe it, but no one has found Erina yet so it was perfectly fine to say that Erina was safe for the time being. Before the three boys could continue their talk, the televised address was already beginning and everyone went pin-drop silent to listen in.

Azami stood in front of all the cameras and most of the student body as well as the staff of the academy. He was smiling that cold wicked grin and still dressed all in black, but there was a spark of amusement in his eyes, as if he was excited about something about to happen.

"Students of Totsuki." He started, "You have my thanks. I'm Azami Nakiri. Allow me to be honest with you, I'm here to show my vision of the perfect world. One where Totsuki Academy is reborn and exactly what that involves. The first point is this: Beginning immediately, all cooking lectures and seminars, as well as study groups and societies are hereby stripped of all rights to operate autonomously."

Everyone gasped in horror the decree, both students and teachers. All Azami did was smile at his work towards the perfect world of culinary arts as everyone voiced their opinions and disgust in what he was saying.

"On to the second point." Azami continued, "Form this point forward a new organization shall be established here on campus. It shall be an elite core comprised of myself and the Council of Ten at the top. As well as any students I choose with the goal of seeking out new cuisine. It shall be a world of gods, where knowledge of all things delicious is exchanged. The Central Institution of Fine  Cuisine, or Central. Everything you make will be decided by the members of Central, which means you no longer have to conceive of your dishes." He smiled and turned towards the edge of the stage, "And finally, there is one more thing I would like toe discuss with you all here today."

He stretched out his hand and from his followed gaze, everyone could see something they never could have imagined. 

Hikari Yukihira, wearing the standard Totsuki Academy girls' uniform, walking so prim and proper to stand by Azami Nakiri. She turned towards the cameras with a blank, lifeless expression on her face, terrifying all those who knew her or had at least encountered her. Everyone on campus knew her and her brother for be outspoken, loud and unpredictable especially in the kitchen. But seeing this girl.... it was like looking at a soulless doll. She wasn't even wearing her hearing aids to help lessen the noise, nor any kind of protection used for her senses in case the became overwhelming.

Soma couldn't help shake and grit his teeth in anger at the sight of his sister being so broken and with him being so helpless at the moment to try and help her. If the other members of their friend group were with him, he would be hearing all sorts of complaints and insults about Azami taking Hikari with him.
