Hyunjin's POV
Next day, it was the same ordinary day for everyone but not for me. I went to school an hour late. Maybe I don't want too much attention and it was annoying me a bit.
Luna moved in with us, temporarily, but it is fine with us. She stayed up all night and talked to us about random topics. She was so talkative and kept asking us about vampires.
Minho cooked for her, and we just drank blood which we usually do. It was a smooth evening for Luna, she fell asleep around 2 am, she really enjoyed every story she heard about us. Like she is taking notes of everything.
I put my hands inside my pocket and went to our classroom. But the teacher wasn't there. Everyone is minding their own business, using their phones, listening to music, some are reading, and some are talking with friends.
Luna was laughing with her friends when she noticed me. "Hyunjin!" she called and signaled me to come over
I smiled and went towards her "Hey." I greeted
"Ah. These are my friends. I know you always see them but I still want to introduce you properly." she said
I nodded.
"This is Jihun, Cara's ex boyfriend. Those are Jina and Soyun." Luna
"Hi." Jina greeted
"Hi!" Soyun greeted cheerfully and even waved her hands
Jihun just gave me a nod.
"Good morning."
Luna stood up and suddenly left the room which made all our attention go to her. It was so sudden that even my friends looked worried.
"She wanted to go to the restroom." Jina said
"She keeps asking us to stop the game and wait for her, earlier." Soyun said
Felix stood up and was about to follow Luna-
"She just wanted to go to the restroom."
"I doubt." Felix said and left
"Hyunjin." Soyun called
I looked at her.
"Does Felix have feelings for Luna? I mean I know you guys are friends. He is acting so protective over Luna." Soyun
"Right." Jihun agreed
"I- I guess so..."
Vampires don't have feelings. Luna said. It's true, and Felix won't ever have feelings for Luna. Vampires don't fall in love. And there is no exception to us.
Felix came back and went to his seat.
I went towards him to ask "What happened? Where is she?"
"Chill. She's using the bathroom." Felix said and started reading his book
I doubt that. I hurriedly left and went to the bathroom for ladies. I waited for almost five minutes but no Luna came out of the bathroom, girls keeps coming in and out but I can't see her.
"Hey." I stopped one girl who just came out of the bathroom
"Huh? Why?" she asked as she finished tying her hair
"Have you seen a girl inside who has long wavy black blue hair?"
She shook her head as answer and said "No one is inside now. I am the last one-"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes." she answered seriously
"Thank you." I said and hurriedly ran around the school to look for Luna but I can't find her. I kept searching for her, hoping that she was just somewhere near. But as I have searched every corner of the school, no Luna was found.
Where are you?
Garden. I hurriedly ran to the garden but she's not there. Where did she go? I can't track her scent. She is gone and didn't leave anything to track her.
To the hope that I would see her, I went to the rooftop as my last place to search for her and I would go tell others that she is missing-
"Luna." I called as I saw her standing there
She turned around and tears keep coming out of her eyes "I... I saw something."
"You saw what? What is it?" I asked as I started walking towards her
"No! Don't come near me." Luna cried even more
"Calm down. What did you see?"
"The man... He was- I was standing beside him. I was watching with him. I- In front of me... I saw you all. The eight of you. Locked in a cage, doesn't have strength to stand, and was injected by something." she worriedly said
That's definitely not the past.
"Whatever you saw is not something you should believe. Luna, someone is manipulating you. A vampire might be around and sensed you. Don't believe-"
"I am a traitor, Hyunjin. I betrayed you all. I... How am I supposed not to believe? It felt real." she cried even more
"Luna, calm down. Believe me. It is something to scare you. That's not true. We will look for the vampire who manipulated your mind."
"I don't think someone did it to me." she whispered
I went towards her and hugged her, but the moment I did, she didn't move at all. She was staring somewhere like she is spacing out.
"Luna-"
She pushed me hard "No. That's not going to happen. Hyunjin. You would never do that. I know you wouldn't."
"Please. What's happening? Tell me."
And she suddenly screamed because of the pain causing her to lose her strength and fall on the ground.
I hurriedly went to her and caught her before she even fall completely "What's happening?"
"It hurts!" she screamed and cried even more
"I'll take you to-"
She kept screaming because of the pain.
Danger is coming for the necklace.
