Chan's POV
"What happened? What's with the noise?" Hyunjin asked as he entered the house
"You." Luna faced him and she sounded like she was gonna kill him
"What's wrong? Are you okay?" Hyunjin asked
"You killed Cara, didn't you?" Luna said while crying
We were all staring at Hyunjin who just entered the house. He was shock as well, like us. I don't know but Luna seems to be telling the truth. Felix said she can foresee future events, maybe she saw? Or maybe she saw Hyunjin at the scene? Or someone manipulated her mind?
"What?! Why would I do that?" Hyunjin asked and looked at us
"I saw it." she cried
"Luna, are you sure? Tell us everything." Jeongin said but he is still hesitant to believe her
"The day that Xavien gave me the necklace, my tattoo was hurting before that. I foresaw that I betrayed you all. That I was the reason why you are all locked up. I was with red shadow watching the eight of you suffer." Luna said
We were all silently listening to her.
"When I touched Hyunjin, I saw him inside the truck that hit my sister in the street. I am sure that it was him, I can't be wrong. I clearly saw his face and how he fucking smiled as he hit her." Luna continued
"What? I went to the store to buy some food. What do you mean? I didn't bring the car with me to be there at the party. Also, if you will mention my fast skill, I'm sorry but I don't use it when humans are everywhere." Hyunjin defended himself
"Luna, Hyunjin left 10 minutes ago, and he just went nearby. It can't be him. He is not going to do that and that is against our rules."
"What's the point of explaining?" Luna said and hurriedly went to her room
Hyunjin would never do such decision. He is part of our team and that is our rule number one, don't cause any harm to humans. Also, Hyunjin is a special vampire in the Kingdom of Azeviel.
"What the hell?" Hyunjin said and looks disappointed
"There are two red shadow vampires who were at the scene. Luna's Father said that Cara received a painting of a woman covered in blood, and a necklace which is the same as Luna's necklace connected to her tattoo. He knew red shadow and he has been hiding Luna from him, maybe red shadow found out recently, and threatened Mr. Yeon to kill her daughter. So, he told us about it and asked for protection. We are about to go home and ride the bus, but Cara chased us because she has something to give to Luna. Luna volunteered to cross the street but Cara refused, and she will cross instead." Jisung started
"Cara made sure there was no car around, but when she was crossing the street, truck suddenly came and hit her. We weren't able to save her because two red shadows chained us up causing for us not to move. They were the ones that controlled the truck driver's mind to hit Cara." Felix added
"And why is she blaming me?" Hyunjin
"Like us, red shadow has the ability to manipulate human minds. Even though Luna is far, he can get in her mind and control what she can see. So, she manipulated her mind into seeing Hyunjin killing Cara." Felix answered
"Why me? Why not you? I mean it will be useful if he will use you, it will ruin you and Luna, to help each other." Hyunjin said
"You are Luna's protector." Felix
"Huh?" Jisung
"What?" Changbin
"What do you mean? How did he become Luna's protector all of a sudden?" Seungmin
"It was when Felix and I went to the Kingdom of Azeviel. The highest mentioned that one of us could be her protector, and it might be someone that Luna would want to go with. The one she feels safe to be with." Minho said
"But that is not enough clue for us to find out who. It may be a wrong decision but we sneaked in the special room just to find out who."
"No, you guys did not." Hyunjin
The special room is where the falls that can tell you the secret information. It was a forbidden room for us vampires except the highest, but we sneaked in the room to find out who. Of course, we needed to know who, in order to be able to know who trust Luna with.
"It was Hyunjin, he is fated to be Luna's protector. He was her protector ever since, and it was not a coincidence when they always end up seeing each other even if they don't plan to."
"Okay, that was cool. But... did you guys get caught?" Jisung
"Yes, by the highest. He did not give us punishment but he told us that he knew we are impatient and will do that." Felix
"That's unfair. I was locked up for days for trying to open the special room." Jeongin pouted
"No matter what happens now, we have to be more careful with wherever we go. Remove all the evidence that may let the red shadow vampires track us."
"Copy." Jisung
"Also, always be alert around the house. Tell Xavien as well about the plan, she has to know."
"I'll tell her." Seungmin
Hyunjin seems bothered about Luna.
