Within days, Taiju gathered about four baskets of shells that he soon crushed into a white powder using a hammer.

With his crazy strength, he was done in no time. Four bags were full of Calcium carbonate.

Amelie nodded in approval, "Not bad, Teddy Bear."

"It wasn't that hard at all," he says with pride.

"Good job, big oaf," Senku complimented, despite the insulting name.

"Nothing's as exhilarating as Calcium carbonate," Senku said with anticipation.

"Give them the run-down Senku, tell them what you can do with Calcium carbonate," Amelie suggested.

He jumped to it right away, "There are four insanely useful ways to use it," Senku held up four fingers before naming each thing, "First: Agriculture. We use it to blow away all the hydrogen ions. In other words, it upgrades the soil. Second: Construction. Cook it together with sand, and you have mortar."

"Mortar is basic cement. That'll help us–mainly me–make bigger houses and furnaces," Amelie added.

"Third: Soap. Gather sodium carbonate from seaweed, mix it with oil and the reaction creates soap."

Taiju thought that was a lot to take in.

Senku smirked and tossed a bag to each person, "Time to begin rebuilding civilization!"

Taiju glanced down at his bag in confusion, "What are we supposed to do with the something-or-other carbonate?"

"As I said, we're going to be rebuilding civilization," Senku repeated with bewilderment.

Senku worked on a soon-to-be soap bar.

"I never thought I'd see such a beautiful sight..." Amelie sighed in longing as she sat across from Senku.

Senku stopped in surprise, glancing over at her, "Huh? What are you talking about?"

"Soap. I really, really missed soap," she pouted.

He blinked for a few seconds, "Oh."

Amelie raised a brow at his tone, "'Oh'? What did you think I was talking about?"

He just wordlessly continued with his soap, Amelie shrugging in confusion.

"Getting sick means game over in this world," he spoke louder for everyone, "This little chunk keeps germs off of us is our stone of life in a world with no doctors. It's our doctor stone."

Amelie gave something akin to a warm smile, "You never seem to bore me Senku, always doing something amazing."

A small smile curved onto his face as he raised an amused brow, "Oh, are you complimenting me?"

She rolled her eyes, "Don't let it get to your head."

"Too late."

"You-"

"Senku, you're an amazing man," Tsukasa suddenly complimented, "Both of you are amazing."

Amelie leaned back on her arms coolly. While Senku, on the other hand, looked at him with a sidelong glance.

"At the moment I revived, too, you communicated the situation quickly and calmly." His gaze switched to exclusively Senku, "I've never seen anyone as clever as you. I admire you, truly."

Senku silently began to stand, smoothly moving Amelie's hand away from her dagger, unnoticed by Tsukasa. He went over to a bag of calcium carbonate and put some into a bowl, before finally responding.
