I was so bored.
Today Chris said that we couldn't go out with friends or anything because we were going to have a family day. A sibling day. That meant no Amber, the one thing Chris got right.
Every once in a while Chris makes up these, and they are torture. They usually always end up with boredom, and a fight between us younger siblings because of annoyance.
The boredom part came a little earlier this time as Chris got a call from someone he works with and he had to take it. My oldest brother claimed he would just jump on the call really quickly and then we could go back to 'sibling bonding' time.
He lied.
Chris had been in his room for about an hour. At the half-hour mark, my brothers and I dispersed to our separate rooms. Most of us wanted to leave, but Dylan said we couldn't because Chris would be back and we have to bond and blah, blah, blah. That's how I ended up here. In my room tossing some foam basketball up and down to myself while lying on my bed.
It was safe to say I was pretty bored.
Plus Chris took away our phones before he got on his work call and we don't know where they are. So I couldn't just play on my phone while we waited.
Of course I was bummed that I couldn't hang out with my friends or even leave the house being as bored as I was. But a small part of me was glad for the relaxing day. After what happened with Damon and my chat with Cameron and everything I just needed to chill out. But chilling out didn't mean I couldn't do anything fun, something Chris was taking from me.
"C'mon," I heard from behind me.
I quickly rolled around on my bed, eager to have some good news or something for me to do, only to be disappointed when I saw Sam in my doorway.
"Time for some fun," My brother said sarcastically, rolling his eyes and turning around, leaving my room.
I groaned getting up, off of my bed, before following Sam down the stairs and to the living room where my family was. Well, everyone except for Cameron.
I don't know where Cameron is other than that he had to take care of something, whatever that means. It didn't bother me that much because Cameron was always absent for this sort of thing.
Lucky him
"Hey, bug, come sit down," Dylan called to me as I walked into the room.
I rolled my eyes at the nickname but reluctantly sat down in between Dylan and West.
"I'm not a bug," I scowled at my brother.
My brothers sometimes used what they think are endearing nicknames for me, but most of them I hated. And "Bug" was high up on the hate list. Dylan doesn't use the name that often and when he does I think it's mainly because it annoys me and I usually have a reaction.
"Not a bug, my bug," Dylan responded cheekily as he reached over to ruffle my hair.
I dodged my second oldest brother's hand just in time, shuffling a little towards West who quickly pulled me into a headlock.
"Hey!" I called towards West.
Why me? It's always me.
Growing up with so many brothers that are older than me I've kinda figured out that they stick together and do anything to annoy their little sisters. West being one of the worst offenders out of my brothers.
I put my hands on his arms, trying to pry them off from around my neck as he started to rub his knuckles into my scalp.
"C'mon West, stop," I pleaded, trying to get him to take pity on me
