She slurps from her drink before looking up at us. "And that's how Phil determined that the archduke just had to go." she says. I place my drink down on the desk, "care for dessert?" she offers. "I had a bad Twinkie in the apocalypse once, it kind of put me off deserts." five says. "Please, indulge me." she says, pushing the bowl up farther. He reaches in and grabs one, so I do the same. I take the wrapping off of it before chewing the candy. It had a certain taste to it, "What's that taste like to you?" she asks as she leans back in her chair. "The 1950's?" "Precisely right." she says with amusement. "Our clever metaphysics division concocted a way to perfectly distill an entire decade into a single candy. This one's modeled after the Fudge Mutt, smarties favorite in 1955." she says as she holds the candy up, showing it off. "Remarkable." i say softly.

"You'll be happy to know it's the very division that's building your new bodies." she clicks her tongue, "Oh, that reminds me, i have something for you two." she says before clicking a button on the intercom, "Carla?" she calls out. "Yes?" "Would you bring the boxes in, please?" "Certainly." she removes her finger from it and the intercom clicks. I lean back in my seat a bit, but glance over as I see Carla walk in with two boxes stacked on top of each-other. She places the two down on the desk. I look on the first one, "Y/n." was written small on the top, right in the middle. "Go ahead, open it." she says. I glance over at her then back at the box before lifting the top up, it revealed an outfit. "Clothes make the person. Won't it be nice when you can actually wear it?" Very soon, i assure you. They're perfecting your bodies as we speak." she says. "Thank you." i reply. "It's a very kind gift." he says and i close the top. "Is that the Chinese flame thrower?" he asks as he turns around to face it.

"Good eye." she exclaims, Five walks up to it. "War." she says. "Such a fascinating concept. A temporary salve for a permanent human flaw. Course, it's a bit easier to see from 30,000 feet." she says as she chuckles. "These are just some of the things ive collected in my travels. M26 grenades form the Vietnam war." she says tossing it up in the air before catching it. "And this, the most noteworthy, perhaps. My Walther pistol." My lips partially open at the sight. "The very one hitler used to kill himself." she says as she aims the gun ahead of her. "We're not supposed to take these kind of things, but... he wasn't gonna use it anymore." she says as she rolls her eyes before smiling. "Feel... how perfectly balanced that is." she says, aiming it once again before handing it to five. He takes it before examining it.

"I had some thoughts i wanted to run by you. Some suggestions to improve Commsion Protocol." he claims, she hums in response. "Shaking things up already." She runs her hand down his cheek, "I admire that." "Go on!" she says as she walks back over to her desk. "Do tell." "Gloria." he says as he begins walking back over to his seat, "Mm." she hums. "The tube operator. Wouldn't it be simpler if the case managers were to send their own messages?" he suggest. "I appreciate the thought, i really do. But everyone loves gloria. I- i would never hear the end of it." she says as she chuckles.

"She's been with the commission family for years and she's this close to making pension." A knock on the door causes us to look over. "Sorry to interrupt ma'am, may i have a moment alone?" she asks, you could hear her panting. "Of course. Duty calls." she says, looking over at me and Five. "We'll continue this discussion later." "Sure, May i?" he asks, indicating towards the candy. "Please." she says and he grabs some from out of the bowl. I follow him as he walks out.
