"Ouch, shit." i mutter as my body hits the concrete ground. I lift myself up into a sitting position as i squint my eyes. I glance around at my surroundings. Where the hell am i? Where's everyone? "Five!" i shout out, he's not here, nobody is. I swallow the lump in my throat. I quickly scatter to my feet, i'm in an alley way. "Shit. What time is it?" i walk down the alleyway, "What the fuck.." i stop in my tracks, embracing at my surroundings. Everything looks... older. "Oh no." i groan, shit. I need to find out what year i'm in, but i can't just walk up to somebody and ask. I'd look insane, i walk down the side walks, looking for anything that could help. "A newspaper!" i exclaim in victory, i rush over to the stack and take one out. My eyes slightly widen, "Shit." April 13th, 1952. We went back over 60 fucking years? Well, i did. Where is everyone else?? Did they make it where i am, just in different locations? God i'm so confused, i go throughout the pages, looking for anything else that could help me. "Dallas, Texas." i read out to myself.  It was raining and my hair and clothes were getting wetter by the second. I scrunch the news paper up before quickly throwing it to the ground out of frustration. I received a few looks from people walking by, but i ignored it. I turn to my heels before walking back to the alleyway i landed at.

I looked up at the tall building ahead as i sigh. "Morty's Televsion Radio." I make my way up to the door, i notice lights on but i didn't see anybody in, obivously it was closed. But I knocked on the door still, hoping someone would come. To my luck, someone does. A man with brown hair came with a confused look, but opened the door. "Uh, wasn't expecting visitors-." "Yeah, i know.. just, let me in, please. It's pouring out here, i'm wet and have no where else to go." i plead, he looks hesitant, but nods slowly as he opens the door wider. "Thank you." i reply, as i walk inside. "So.. uh.. what was all of that?" he asks, shutting the door back. "Too much to explain." "Well, could you at-least tell me something? I mean, you fall out of some blue portal thing then come to my door.. i'm just so confused." I stare at him for a moment, "You saw the portal?" i ask. He nods, "I'll explain some of it, if you get me a towel." i say, "Alright." he says before rushing to another room.

It took me a moment but i realized how insane i looked, a 13 year old girl, falling from the night sky then showing up at your door isn't necessarily the most sane thing ever. He quickly comes back with two towels, "Here." he says with a grin, "Thank you." i take the two towels, placing one down before wrapping the other around me. "So.." what do i tell him? There's no way i can tell him everything and make sense. What do i say, oh i'm one out of eight kids who have special abilities and i'm from another timeline, which is 2019 but me and my siblings ended up time traveling because our sister ended the world and that was our only escape and i ended up in 1952 by mistake and have no clue where any of my family has gone! Hell no, i can't say that. "Uh, easiest way i can explain it is.." i pause looking for an excuse. "Accident. I don't know how i got here. Just, shit happened." i say, his face drops in disappointment. "I know this all confusing, especially because someone who looks like a kid appeared at your door, but, even though i look 13, i'm not." his eyes widen and he gives a puzzled look. "It's a lot to comprehend. But i look younger than i am basically." I groan as i pinch my nose bridge. I looked fucking stupid.

"I know i look stupid. But the most you can do is trust me. Which is hard at this point." "I- uh. I don't understand any of this.. i'm so sorry." i shake my head lightly. "It's fine. I just- i don't know. I have no idea where any of my family is." i say in defeat, "I know it's a lot to ask, but, could i stay here for a bit? I know absolutely nobody here and you're probably the only human interaction i've had the past 7 minutes." He stays silent for a moment, "If you'll help me with my shop, then, i guess." i grin, "Thank you." he nods slightly before walking out of the room. Where is everyone? Shit, i hope they're all okay. I hope fives okay. "Oh, shoot." he says, i raise a brow. He's staring at me, but not directly like into my eyes. I look down, "Oh, yeah, that. Got any bandages?" i ask, he noticed the shot wound. I forgot about that if i'm being honest. "Yeah, i'll be right back.."
