"Y/n." i look back, and once i see luther i turn my body fully in his direction. "Mhm?" "Could you please talk to Five for me? He locked me out and i can't him to answer me. But, i know he'll respond for you." i sigh, "Why should I? How do you know I actually wanna talk to that asshole after his whole tantrum?" "Come on, y/n! Please. There's gotta be something we can do to stop the end of the world, and i can't figure that out unless I talk to Five. But I can't, you can though!" i raise my hand to my mouth, covering it with a finger slightly. Looking up as i hum. "Hmm, i don't know. I mean, what's in it for me?" he could tell i was teasing and rolled his eyes.
"Y/n. Please." bastards only lucky i forgive him easily, or i'd decline luther's request and leave him to deal with this shit on his own. I roll my eyes but agree. "Fine." he smiles widely, "Knew you'd come around." I make my way inside, and up the stairs. Knocking on the door lightly, i heard some rummaging, but nobody came to the door. "Five, be a sweetheart and open the door for me." he ignored me again, i grew angry, so i flung the door open. No need to worry though, i didn't break it or anything. I just, you know, opened it. Had to unlock it first, yeah.
I wouldn't break it down. That would be stupid. I look around for five, but Fives not in the room. "You got him to open it!" i look back, noticing luther. I'll do me and five both a favor, i notice his smile fading as the door slams then locks. "Five!" i follow the sound of foot steps, till i reach the same room he's in. "Ffivvee." he looks back with clear annoyance. "What?" "Stop being so moody. I don't know what you expected. Don't forget who you were relying on to make it to an alleyway on time." All due respect, our siblings aren't always reliable. I fix myself up on the counter, leaning down a bit. "It was so simple. They had over half an hour to get here. It's not that hard." "Yeah, well, that's in the past now. Main focus, finding another way home." he scoffs, "Already have one."
"And that is?" "It's risky, but, we have no choice." "Buttt? I hate when you do this extra shit instead of just telling me." i whine as i lean back. "We'll have to meet with our selves." "Huh?" he gives me a look, "Tomorrow we'll be here in Dallas. We have a job to do." "We do?" "God, our past selves. Well, present here, but past for us. As in, tomorrow is the day we tried to come back home, to 2019 to stop the apocalypse. We just need to find ourselves, make a deal with them. Try to get their briefcase." i made an 'Ooh.' sound in realization. "Makes sense. Butt, how do we get the brief case? The commission guards their brief cases with their lives. We'll never get it." "Well just have to try. Only downside is we might face paradox psychosis." I nod, i already knew what it was so he didn't need to explain.
"Obviously. Meeting with our past selves is overly dangerous. Not just towards that, but towards them. And, considering it's you and me were meeting it might not be so easy." He nodded, "I wouldn't trust myself so easily." i joke. "So, we just need to prepare ourselves before we find them. Do what we can to help with it if we do face it." "Alright." he sighs, rubbing his temples. "Well, it's already the evening, we may as well get some rest before we do all of this shit." He looks down, but nods slightly in agreement. "Come on then." I hop off of the counter, landing aside from him.
