chapter five

                                                                                      shinsou pov

"I need to go take off my binder" denki says softly standing up and making his way to the bathroom.

I quietly wait for him in his bedroom.

"Hey guys watcha doing in here" mina says as she pokes her head in wiggling her eyebrows suggestively a hand covering her eyes.

"Oh shut up" I say throwing a pillow at her face while blushing beet red

"Haha just kidding anyway where's denki" mina asks lowering her hand from her eyes.

"He uh he just had to go to the bathroom" I say thinking fast it wasn't technically a lie but I still didn't have to tell mina denki was trans because I assumed he hasn't told anyone else yet.

"Oh well you two love bugs have fun" mina teases winking as she walks out. I feel my face go three shades darker at her words.

Once denki got back from the bedroom he layed down in bed next to Mr still looking a little scared. I pull him into a hug at first he stiffened but once he remembered it was me he relaxed.

"It's ok your safe" I whisper to him running my hands through his hair "your safe no one can hurt you when your with me"

Denki starts crying softly and we just stay like that for a while until he eventually falls asleep. I wanted to do something to cheer him up but what.

Wait didn't denki like going to the mall? Yeah I remember mina telling me about how much he loved hanging out with the bakusquad there. That's what I'll do tomorrow morning I'll ask denki if he wants to go to the mall.

                                                                                     denki pov

"Hey denks" I hear a voice say and wake up to see shinsou next to me his gorgeous lavender eyes even more beautiful in the morning sunlight "Did you sleep ok" he asks concerned his brow furrowing slightly as he reached his hand out and lightly caressed my face. It was sweet that he cared so much

"No nightmares" I reply telling the truth for the first time in a while usually I just lied and said I slept fine even if I did have nightmares.

"Hey denks, do you wanna go to the mall today" shinsou asks from the other room.

"That actually sounds really fun" I say smiling thinking about all the fun times I had with the bakusquad there "is it uh just going to be us or is the bakusquad coming"

"That's up to you I guess" shinsou says walking back from the bathroom in a fresh change of clothes " I'm going to go downstairs and bring us up some breakfast that way you don't have to put your binder on"

With that he left and I was alone with my thoughts. If just me and shinsou went to the mall alone it might seem like a date wich I would love to happen sometime but I wasn't sure if I was emotionally prepared for that. So I text shinsou telling him my decision so he can inform the other members of the bakusquad while he's downstairs.
