Sandwich

Calli's POV

He kissed me in the forehead.
I fell asleep while crying and when he kissed me, that kiss wake me up.

I felt his warmth. He carried me in the bed. I missed his touch. His smell, warmth, and the peace he's giving me whenever he's with me it's still there.

I want to open my eyes and move to hug him so tight and tell him how much and how badly i miss him. How much i love him and i want to be with him.

but i was stopped by the memories. What he told me that night. The day i saw him and introduced her girlfriend. It still hurts.

He kissed me again in the forehead and heard him whisper that breaks me into pieces

"I love you calli. I still do and forever will"

I can feel my tears will fall any minute now but i was trying so hard to hold it. And when i heard my door closed that's the time i let my tears fall.

Sobrang sakit. That's what i've been wanting to hear ever since. But now that i heard it from him sobrang sakit pala. Knowing that he loves me and still love me but he didn't choose me. 

I just can't get up. I don't have the guts and energy to get up. All i can do is stay here in the bed and cry until i feel my eyes are getting heavier.

I woke up with the sun peeking thru my windows. I checked the time and it's still early almost 8 in the morning.

I just get up when i felt my tummy rumbling. That's when i remember i didn't ate last night i didn't even drink my vitamins.

I went down straight to the kitchen. And i was shocked since the breakfast is already served and ready.

"Oh calli gising ka na pala. Sige na kumain ka na. Hindi ka nanaman kumain kagabi"

"Nay aga po ha. Naka ayos agad" Biro ko pa at kumain na din naman ako agad.

Sa unang kagat ko palang ng sandwich i knew it agad.
I know who made this. There's only one person who makes this for me. 

"Nay!" Tawag ko kay nanay elsa i need to confirm.

"Bakit calli? Ano nagustuhan mo ba?" Nakangiti pa na sagot nya.

"Where is he nay?" Seryoso ko na tanong sabay kagat ulit ng sandwich.

"Ha? Ano ba sinasabi mong bata ka?"
Sagot nya sakin

"Nay don't deny it. Wag na din po kayo mag maang maangan. I know it nay. Siya lang gumagawa sakin ng sandwich na to. I know every inch of this taste siya ang gumawa" paliwanag ko pa kay nanay.

"Ah eh kasi anak sabi ni sandro wag ko na daw sabihin baka hndi mo daw kainin."

"OA nya naman nay. Of course i'll eat this favorite ko to eh and i missed this po. Asan po ba sya?"

"Ah umalis na anak. Pumunta lang sya dito ginawa at ni ready nya yan tapos umalis na din agad mga 15 mins bago ka bumaba" i was hoping pa naman na andito pa sya but wala na pala kaya ngumiti lang ako kay nanay and finish my breakfast.

I just took my flask and umakyat na din ako ng room to drink my vitamins.

I've been thinking na i message sya just to say thank you but nevermind baka mabasa pa ni sandra ano isipin.

I just stayed in my room. Check some emails and reports from the company and other businesses.

And that made me happy. Everything is well. The sales and reports are all in good place and conditions and that's all because of Mik. She's really good with this.

After i checked it. I went in the shower na then after Nahiga lang ulit ako and watch some old filipino movies. Nalibang naman ako masyado dito napa hinto lang ako ng tumawag si Zoey.

"Ate how are you?"

"I should be the one asking you that. How are you zo?"

"Im good ate. I'll be discharge by 7PM"

"That's good. I'll prepare na para makapunta na ko jan"

"Do you really have to ate? Andito naman sila kuya simon eh they can drop me home naman"

"Yes im sure diba sabi ko no buts na. Sige na bye na love you!"

"Bye ate love you"

I went straight in the closet to change then umalis na ko agad.

Almost an hour nandito na ko sa hospital. I was shocked kasi kumpleto silang tatlo kaya i just went to them to make beso na din.

"Hi zo! Ano are you feeling better na? Ano sabi ng doctor?"

"Everything is good ate. Nothing to worry about na"

"That's good. Namiss kita nako! Next time kasi wag matigas ulo ha!" Sermon ko sa kanya

"Yes ate. Sorry na mana lang ako sayo eh" natatawa nya na sagot loka loka to

"Aba! Hndi matigas ulo ko noh."

"Hindi ka nga daw nag dinner eh. Di ka din nag lunch kanina." Bulong ni sandro.

"May sinasabi ka sands?" Lingon ko sa kanya

"Nothing. I didn't said anything" Kaya inirapan ko lang sya and tumingin ulit kay zoey.
