Third Person's POV :

"What happened after that ?"

The 13 year old girl asks her granny in a frenzied state.

"What do you think happened ?"

The grandma smiles at her granddaughter, mischief twinkling in her eyes.

"She dies, probably", the girl mutters sadly, her head hanging lowly. The grandma just smiled at the child's dejected body.

When the grandmother came to visit her grandchild, she learns that the kid has been aloof and in despair for a while now, not talking with anyone, not doing things she loved, staying holed in her room all the time. Her granddaughter was turning into a recluse and she didn't want that to happen to this bright chid. So, she decides to act upon this.

When the grandmother suggested that she tell the girl a story, the girl was not interested, because who would listen to stories from their grandmother at this age ? She was not a small kid.

But, when her grandmother started speaking, the words flowing from her mouth worked like magic on the girl. She was getting pulled into that supernatural life, into that supernatural world, all thoughts and problems of reality long forgotten. She found herself wanting to hear more and more, wanting to know about the human girl and the werewolf boy and their adventures. And before she realized, she became addicted to the story.

"Probably", the grandma replies, a smile on her wrinkled face.

"But she can't die !", the girl exclaims loudly, startling her granny a bit.

"And why not ?"

"Because... because she just can't die !", the girl huffs, not knowing how to explain her dilemma.

"We cannot control the rules of nature, dear. Remember, death is the only constant. Just because we don't want anyone to die does not mean they will not die. Everyone has to die one day. That's the way this universe works."

The young girl thinks about what her grandma says. The only thing in the universe which is constant is death. And no one can change it.

"I know that you won't kill her", the girl says after a while, with firm conviction in her voice.

"What makes you think that ?", the grandma raises an eyebrow at her granddaughter's determination.

"I just know."

The girl's mother calls her out to get ready for school.

"Coming, mom !"

The girl sighs sadly, still thinking about how the story ends.

"Tell you what, you complete your exams and I'll continue with the story."

"Seriously ?!"

The girl looks up at her granny with hopeful eyes, while the granny gives her a wink and nods.

"YES ! I know you won't end the story like that."

The girl grabs her backpack and wear her shoes while the grandma stares at her granddaughter with a pensive look.

"Why not ?"

"Because", the girl walks over to her grandma and gives her a quick kiss on her cheek, "Belle still has a lot to achieve."

The girl walks out the room happily, knowing that the story has not yet ended, while the grandma observes the young child with a thoughtful look.

"I wonder..."
