𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐘 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐔𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 waiting for the girls to get enough energy to stand up, the group of four was heading back towards the wheeler household. arlo had wiped the blood from her nose but her skin was still pale and it seemed like the bags under her eyes had gotten worse from what just happened. she was walking next to dustin, walking her bike towards the door that led straight into the basement. her and the boys quickly dropped their bikes to the ground before they entered the comfort of the home, eleven following behind them. the first thing that arlo did was collapse on the couch, feeling her body melt into the cushions.
the boys and el had taken their jackets off so that they could relax. mike led eleven to the bathroom to clean the dirt off her face, leaving dustin and arlo alone. dustin watched the harrington girl closely, worried since her body had basically shut down at the quarry. he had noticed her pale skin, but didn't say anything. instead, he just watched her close her eyes, knowing that she needed some kind of sleep -- even if it was a quick cat nap. he purposely didn't move in any way so that he wouldn't make a noise and disturb the girl. he even tried to slow his breathing so that it would be more quiet -- it just made him struggle to breath for a few seconds and then having a cough fit.
