𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐎 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇 𝐓𝐇𝐄 halls of hawkins middle school. she had her walkie in her hand, everyone grabbing theirs from their lockers so that they'd be able to communicate from different parts of the school. arlo had also grabbed her walkman, the having her headphones resting around her neck as this charming man by the smiths faintly played. she was slowly making her way towards the gym, about to go out the door that led to outside.
"east is clear. no sign of dart." mike's voice rang through her walkie.
"west is clear, too. will?" dustin's voice appeared.
"south is clear. lucas? anything?" the byers boy answered.
"percy and i didn't find anything. arlo, what about you? found anything?" lucas responded
the girl in question brought her supercomm up to her mouth, pressing the button on the side before she started talking. "nothing in north. heading to the gym." she replied as she pushed opened the door.
"i'll meet you there." mike informed.
arlo didn't respond, instead she just kept walking towards the gym. she looked both ways of the parking lot to make sure no one was trying to run her over with a car. she entered the gym, memories flashing to what happened last year with eleven. she shook her head to rid of them, walking deeper and deeper. she was about to bring her walkie up to ask mike where he was, but she was interrupted by the door to the boy's locker room swinging open. out came mike with max trailing behind him with her skateboard tucked under her arm.
