𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐎, 𝐋𝐔𝐂𝐀𝐒, 𝐃𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍, 𝐌𝐈𝐊𝐄, 𝐀𝐍𝐃 eleven were still in the junk yard. lucas had been explaining what he had saw on his journey to find the gate. he had been using three twigs, an old piece of ply wood, and a soda can to show his friends what he had seen. he had told them that there was a lab out in the woods, which confused the trio, never hearing of a lab out in hawkins. eleven was surprised though. even if she barely reacted when lucas was explaining, arlo could tell that she knew where this lab exactly was.
"it's gotta be in there somewhere. it's gotta be." lucas finished.
"who owns hawkins lab?" dustin questioned.
"the sign say 'department of energy.'" lucas answered.
"department of energy? what do you think that means?" the henderson boy then quizzed, looking around at everyone.
"i have a hunch that it's just a fancy way of saying the united states government." arlo replied blandly. she was leaned up against a piece of junk, her knees up to her chest as she hugged them.
