~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After about 10 hours of watching Spider-Man movies, it was time for dinner.
Noah, Charlie, Daxton, and I were sitting at the dinner table, waiting for everyone else to get there.
While Noah, Charlie, and Daxton talked, I sat silently, just staring at the table.
After two panic attacks and not much sleep, I was very tired.
Soon, Mr. Thompson, Ace, and Hunter came and sat at the table.
I continued to stay quiet as everyone besides Mr. Thompson spoke to each other about things that I didn't pay attention to.
"Adeline," I was pulled out of my thoughts by Hunter's voice, "Are you ok?"
I nodded with a small smile, making him nod slowly, before returning to the conversation he was having with Charlie.
Soon, people came out of the kitchen with the food.
Again, it looked amazing.
Thankfully there was half the amount on my plate as there was last night.
Again, I couldn't eat all of it.
"You need to eat more, sweetheart." Hunter whispered to me.
I ate a little more, hoping that would satisfy him.
I was able to eat three fourths of it which was pretty good in my opinion.
Once everyone was done eating, I went upstairs to 'my' room and decided to lay down and play on my phone.
First, I checked my E-Mails, seeing one from the funeral home.
We were still planning a funeral for Jack, which thankfully, we now had a date for, Tuesday.
Two days from today.
When I say 'we' I mean me.
His family wasn't going to do anything for him; they were just going to let the funeral home do whatever they wanted with his body.
In the note he left, it said he didn't want anyone but me at his burial.
He didn't want the celebration, he didn't want his family there, he just wanted to be buried.
So, that's what I was trying to plan.
When I first told the funeral home what he wanted, they were a little confused.
The man running the place told me he had never heard of anyone choosing to do it like that, but he respected it and helped me pick out a casket, flowers, and where he was going to be buried.
Everything together was going to cost around 16 thousand dollars, but it was worth it.
I had no idea how I was going to pay for all of it, but it's what Jack wanted, so that's all that mattered.
He deserved so much more, but that's all he wanted, so I had to respect that.
I was not looking forward to Tuesday at all, but I was glad that he would finally be able to rest.
I was pulled out of my thoughts by the door opening.
"Are you ok?" Hunter asked, looking concerned.
"Yeah, why?" I asked, sitting up.
