Introduction

Good [whatever time of day it is for you], it's Sogs here to bore you with the disclaimer! 

If you don't know me or haven't read any other stories of mine, I like to start every work with a few notes so that readers aren't going in completely blind. By all means, feel free to skip ahead to the first chapter if you'd like, but I will be putting down warnings and important notes here so I encourage you to take a look if you have a moment!

Let's start!

First off, I'll explain how this story is going to work.

As a fan of the supernatural series, I have finished the show in its entirety (plus a few rewatches for good measure) and found myself desiring to flesh out a certain aspect of the plot that I feel did not get enough attention because the many other things that the writers wanted to focus on. With that being said though, the main character will make her grand entrance to the show sometime in season 6, almost season 7.  From there, I will continue to write out the main perspective as if it belonged there in the first place

This is the chance for you to insert yourself (or an original character) directly into the supernatural world

I plan to try my hardest to stay as close to the original storyline as possible without making it too confusing to follow, however, there will be some divergence from canon to better fit the narrative of the main character. 

General notes

Swearing: Profanity will be included in this story, however, I value people who come from all walks of life and ensure that there will never be an instance in which I use vulgar, homophobic, racist, sexist, etc. language

Violence: There will be graphic scenes and/or descriptions of torture, injuries, pain, and violence. I am not one to censor myself when it comes to writing scenes such as the ones described above, so if you are squeamish then this may not be the story for you. (SA or abuse is not included in any form)

Criticism: Your opinions, feelings, and general thoughts regarding the story you read are completely valid and encouraged to be voiced out in the comments. I would love to hear what you think about the chapters I publish and promise to take into consideration any criticism or advice that you are willing to give me

Past Writing: If you read this story when it was originally named "Risen From The Ashes", firstly I am so sorry you had to go through that. Second, the story you are reading now is the same as before just with some much-needed changes to ensure plot points are properly connected and you are not subjected to writing from a middle schooler.
