The next night wasn't much better than the first, Chris got out a couple of times but on the third night of him being alone, he left his bed only once. The second week went a little better. The only problem was that he has nightmares now as well. Especially if Hawkeye was working.

The first time Chris had a nightmare, the child searched nervously for Hawkeye. but when he found the man, he didn't dare to come close at first, afraid that his dad got mad.

But Hawkeye saw the pale, trembling, and almost sobbing boy and knew something was wrong.

He pulled the small boy against his chest and began patting him gently on his back, whispering words of comfort.
When Chris finally calmed down he fell asleep again in the warm embrace of Hawkeye's arms. Hawkeye had to carry him home and tug him in again.

Hawkeye has noticed, however, that Christopher hasn't taken a liking to sleep in his bed if Hawkeye was working. He rather slept in Hawkeyes.

The third week went okay as well, Chris only got out once that week.

Hawkeye was thinking about getting Chris to the states because this was simply not a safe place for a child.
But he started to see that it would be very difficult. What would Chris do in the states without me?

It made him nervous and guilty to think about leaving his son alone, but it had to be done. After all, they couldn't go on like this, it didn't work that way. This was war and they are close to the combat zones. and even without the fighting, guns, and bombs, the blood and dead people are a letdown. But how would he get Chris to Maine? And how would Chris react?

Perhaps he should just book a flight, but he dreaded it. Maybe he should call Sidney. Or talk to his dad about it, but his dad didn't know Chris the way Hawkeye did.

The doctor was snapped out of his thoughts as Radar entered the Swamp.

“Hi, guys!” The clerk said happily

“ I just came to collect your money for today's pool! 5 o'clock Charlie is here in a couple of minutes and I need cash to secure you're bet. You guys got the same place as yesterday?”

“Of course, my good man, and be quick about it.” Trapper voiced with a fake British accent giving the clerk his money.

“Okay. Trapper, you're 47, and Hawkeye, 62.” Radar said while writing it down.

“Good show! Carry on!” Hawkeye told the man while handing him the money.

Five O'Clock Charlie is North Korea's most indefatigable and most inaccurate bomber pilot, who flies over the camp at the same time every day - hence the name - and drops one bomb, in a pathetic attempt to destroy the camp and a nearby ammunition dump.

His aim is terrible, and he always misses, so no one at the 4077th is particularly worried. But they do turn his visits into a social occasion, gathering to watch his attempt and betting on where his bombs will land.

At that moment the intercom of the mash unit flared to life.

”Attention! All personnel, three minutes to Charlie, I repeat three minutes till 5 o'clock, Charlie.“

With a fake British accent Hawkeye continued ” I say, Reggie, you come here often?“

”Only when my horse is running.“ Trapper replied with an accent while adjusting his monocle.
