Okay guys if i get something wrong with the timeline or events sry but I haven't read one of the books in ages just fanfics😅

Sophie smiled. It wasn't a real smile. Her happiness was gone. Nothing was real anymore. She bowed to the council before sweeping her blue gown into her hands and walking as fast as she could down the glowing green stairs, bursting out of Tribunal Hall and into the bustling streets of Eternalia. She needed to get out of here as soon as possible.

A hand clasped on her shoulder and she flinched before realising it was Grady with a worried looking Edaline beside him. "We need to get home and talk about this now Sophie." Grady said sternly, although his cool blue eyes were filled with concern. But Sophie wasn't thinking about anything around her as they were whisked away into the light. Only about the beautiful blonde boy who disappeared without a trace, and left the note in her bedroom.

The crumpled piece of paper lay on her desk, the letters smudged from the amount of times she had held it. Sophie was patting Iggy on the head with tears streaming down her face. Maybe this was all a dream.

To the Mysterious Miss F! 

Nope. The pain of him leaving her would have been enough to wake her. This was real. Too real.

She assumed this meant he was in the forbidden cities. But what if she was wrong? What if he was hiding somewhere else, or had erased his own memory somehow? She couldn't waste years of searching on nothing. That's why she had held a meeting with the council so they could help, but if they weren't of use, she would have to go find him herself.

She repeated this in her mind. Let the words swirl in her head. She had finally realised what Ro had been tying to tell her all this time. And she let this remain her mantra to the world for the rest of her life as she searched. 'I love you Keefe. Please come back.' But he never did.
