Thud thud thud. Someone's heart beat nearby. You could hear it clearly as you felt yourself slowly regain consciousness. Someone else coughed and you heard the sound of a wrapper heing torn in a nearby room.

You moved your fingers slightly as your eyes opened. It was too bright at first and you had to blink a few times.

Looking to your left you were able to see your friends sitting together on chairs. They hadn't seen you'd woken up yet. You saw Suhyeok sitting with Namra away nearby the window which you didn't understand why.

To your right Wujin was sitting against the wall hugging his legs and resting his head on his knees. He seemed to be asleep but he looked alright. Thud thud thud. It was Wujin's heart beat you could hear.

He smelt unusually sweet as you lifted yourself up into a sitting position. It was weird, your hearing and scent senses seemed to be much stronger.

Placing your hand on your chest where your own heart was beating rather fast you let yourself breath in and out trying to calm it. The last thing you remembered was being bitten by Gwinam. You had no idea how you got into the music room but Suhyeok must have carried you.

Feeling your own heart slow down a little you breathed out one more time before lifting your hand slowly to Wujin's hair. He started under your touch but he only stiffened and let you touch him.

You let your hand drop as he lifted his head slowly. "Hi." You weakly spoke. Even your own voice felt weird to use.

"Hi." He responded in a similar tone but he sounded relieved. "How do you feel?"

You shrugged. "Kind of hungry, kind of tired." You admitted. It was true there was an odd hunger sensation you could feel inside you.

Wujin swallowed nervously but tried to hide it. He was very aware that if you showed any signs of turning Cheongsan would want you out immediately, like he had tried with Namra while you'd been unconscious. "But...you don't feel in pain?"

You shook your head. Surprisingly you didn't feel any pain. "No, I don't feel sore." You told Wujin as you began unwrapping your bandage on your wrist.

By now it was just being irritable and in the way, you were sure it wasn't doing any help due to how bloody it was anyway. Letting the bandage fall you lifted your wrist to inspect it. The scratch from Hyeonju wasn't deep in the first place but now it seemed to have faded- almost healed.

"How does my bite look?" You asked Wujin gesturing to your collarbone. You couldn't very easily check yourself.

Wujin grimaced and glanced up to you guilt flashing in his eyes. "It's a little bloody but not that deep."

You let out a sigh and stretched your arms up. Damn Gwinam. It's not like he even was a zombie when he attacked you...was it?

"How come you're not with the others?" You asked Wujin.

"I was waiting for you to wake up." He told you as if it was obvious.

"Then how long was I out for?" You wondered trying to ignore the hunger sensation.

"About twenty minutes." Wujin answered. "The others don't know if they can trust you yet. Well mostly Cheongsan."

This made you frown and you glanced over to your friends. "Why...It's not like Gwinam was a zombie. Do they really not trust me?"

Wujin was silent for a moment. "Cheongsan says he saw Gwinam get bit."

You looked back to him in surprise. "What? But he can't have been, he was normal. Furious at Cheongsan but he was normal."
