Having Arthit by his side 24/7 was soon proving to be detrimental to Kongpob's career. Sure he had endless inspiration with Arthit by his side but where the heart was willing, the flesh was weak. Case in point, at this very moment Kongpob itched to get out of his study chair to drag his husband who was currently seated across the room into his lap.

Just as he made a small move, said husband shot a look his way, making him cower back into his seat, grumbling under his breath as he picked up his pen once again to attempt to save his career. Arthit shook his head from where he sat. What was he going to do with this husband of his? Raising the manga he held in hand, he used it to shield the little grin that was creeping up his face.

What? His husband was adorable. Arthit could appreciate that Kongpob had basically clung to him like a lost puppy ever since he had arrived here but enough was enough. Even if he was dead, Kongpob wasn't and there were bills to pay. He wasn't going to watch the younger one ruin his own career over him. Over his dead body, so to speak.

His mind slowly wandered over to his parents, as Kongpob had brought them up ever so often. He'd wanted to see them again, of course he did. But he wasn't sure how he would face them. Not after that night. Sure, they wouldn't actually be able to see him but it didn't mean he was ready to be in the same room as them still.

And he wasn't sure he wanted Kongpob to know the truth of it all. It wasn't something he was particularly eager to share. Despite everything, he still desperately wanted to know, if he was forgiven, if they still loved him, if.. They truly blessed this union between the two of them.

Lost in his thoughts, Arthit failed to notice his handsy husband sneaking up behind him to engulf him in a back hug.

"This sure is nice," Kongpob hummed, "I can see why he likes it."

"Kong!" Arthit yelped, furiously batting at the arms that had snaked around him. "You're supposed to be working!"

"I'm done with the chapter," Kongpob placated, nuzzling himself against Arthit's neck. "Now I want to spend some time with my husband."

"That's all you ever do Kong," Arthit grumbled, rolling his eyes. "Are you sure you're done?"

A little absent minded humming from Kongpob finally placed his thoughts at ease. It was now 5pm on a Friday evening. Kongpob wouldn't be able to fax his papers over yet till it was later in the night.

"So are you free now?" Arthit asked softly, fiddling with the fingers of the other. There was a place he had wanted to go to but out of respect for Kongpob's deadline, he hadn't said anything about it up till now.

"Yup, I'm all yours now." Kongpob replied happily.

"Yuck." Arthit imitated barfing while Kongpob chuckled happily. "Kong, can we go somewhere today? There's something I want to show you."

"Of course, where do you want to go?"

"Just.. why don't you just follow me. I'll show you." Arthit said, refusing to give more details.

"Okay, I'll wash up and we can go." Kongpob kissed Arthit's cheek as the other sighed lightly. His husband sure had a lot on his mind for a dead person.

Arthit fiddled with his fingers while waiting for Kongpob to be done with his shower. He had put off talking about this for so long, it was scary now that he had made up his mind to tell Kongpob about it. But he knew it wasn't fair to the other to be kept in the dark like that. Not when all he had done was being ever so patient with him.

Besides, it was Kongpob right? The man who loved him despite the fact that he was dead. If he could see past that, it would be okay to tell him right? Arthit's mind swam with question after question till he was startled by Kongpob who pecked him on the lips to break him out of his reverie.
