Louis's POV:

By the time I wake up or come out of whatever headspace I was in, I can tell it's the next morning.

The faint colors of the morning's sunrise shine through the room.

I can hear Harry's alarm ringing obnoxiously yet it doesn't seem to bother me. Being wrapped up in Harry's strong arms in his comfortable bed was far too perfect.

"Sorry baby," Harry's deep morning voice says.

I turn and snuggle into his chest as one of his arms leaves my waist to turn off the alarm.

I noticed I was now just wearing one of Harry's t-shirts and a pair of much too big boxers.

Once the ringing stops, he turns back to me and stares down at me with a smile as he brushes some of the hair out of my face.

"Good morning," I say, the sound muffled my Harry's chest.

"Morning princess, how did you sleep?" Harry says while carding his fingers through my hair.

I just groan out a 'good' feeling too tired to hold a real conversation right now.

He chuckles at me a bit before speaking up.

"Something came up at work and I'm going to have to go in for a few hours. I tried to get out of it but apparently, it's an emergency. I'm sorry darling," Harry huffs out as I just trace little shapes on his chest.

"Is everything okay? Your team isn't hurt right?" I ask worriedly while rubbing my eyes, suddenly feeling a bit more awake.

I push up on his chest a bit, now being able to get a good look at his face as I wait for an answer.

He had stubble covering his lower face and it was difficult to not get distracted as he spoke.

"Everything is fine. Don't worry. Just need to get some stuff done. It shouldn't take long but I want you to stay here and when I get home I'll take you out to a nice dinner." Harry says, pressing my head back down slowly.

I can't help but smile a little bit at the thought of Harry taking me out.

"You're not going to kill someone are you?" I ask before I can even think about what I am saying.

Harry pauses then sighs.

"No, darling. Not if you don't want me to." He says softly.

"Thank you," I say gently after a pause.

He just kisses my forehead before slowly pulling himself out of bed and into the bathroom.

I snuggle back into the bed, it now feeling much less comfortable without Harry in it.

A few minutes later Harry comes back out of the bathroom with only a towel wrapped around his waist. He has little water beads dripping down his toned-inked body, I was shamelessly staring.

But he just smirked at me as he began to get dressed. When he dropped his towel I blushed and looked away, not wanting to be that creepy.

He dressed in a dark blue suit with a white dress shirt below that he unbuttoned dangerously low. He threw on his watch and rings before coming back over to me.

"I'll have the chef make you some breakfast. But you are welcome to anything I have here. I'm sorry I have to leave bub I'll be as quick as I can I swear." He says with a tightly pained expression.

"It's fine Haz, I can survive without you for a few hours." I laugh.

Even though I'm not so sure I want to.
