Chapter 4: Well That Sucks

Morning comes too soon in Edward's mind but when it does, he ignores it and goes back to bed.... well sometimes.

Other times he is randomly motivated to do something or rudely awakened by someone else, like right now.

*Bam* *Bam* *Bam*

On the other side of Edward's door is Mine who got stuck waking Edward up once again. Maybe she should try waking up early too.

Mine shouts, *muffled* "Wake up in there lazy butt! We don't have all day you know."

The door opens to reveal a still half asleep Edward as he says, "Actually, we do have all day since I haven't got a mission, so good day." Before closing the door on Mine.

She gruffs slightly before yelling through the door that, "If you sleep any longer then you'll miss breakfast!"

That woke him up as before Mine knew it, Edward was dressed and heading to the kitchen without a second thought.

Mine was left flabbergasted before quickly following behind while yelling at him.

Edward: Man.... rudely awakened and lectured and I still get no breakfast.

Tatsumi: Dude, you should have seen it. Akame ate yours, Mine's and Sheele's bowls in seconds.

Edward looks to Akame with tears comicly streaming down his face while she just shrugs it off and leaves the room.

Mine smacks him on the head to get his attention and to get him to stop crying.

He rubs the back of his head as he turns to her, "What was the for?"

Mine: Breakfast or not, you're stuck with me again today. So liven up rookie.

Edward stands up to reveal his towering 6'5 height to her small 5'1, "And what if I don't want to liven up, "rookie"."

The onlookers gain looks of "you just fucked up" as Mine smiles in anger while a tick mark forms on her head.

Next we find Edward lying on the ground of the training area covered in ash as Mine holds a smoking Pumkin.

Coughing up smoke, Edward says, "Why is that gun so strong..."

Mine: Next time, just shut up and do as your told.

Edward slowly gets up, "Fair enough, but I still stick by you being the rookie in this scenerio."

Mine readies Pumkin, "You wanna go again?"

Holding his hands in a defensive manner he continues, "I'm just saying, you're like 15, 16 while I'm much older than that and been fighting longer than you've been able to lift that Imperial Arm of yours. You may be my senior Assassin, but I'm the senior fighter."

Retorting with, "Maybe just senior citizen." Mine takes a second and thinks before coming up with an idea.

Just as Edward is about to leave, Mine says, "Ok, listen. I need to head into town anyways, so let's get you some new clothes."
