"Mr Bang, we'd get your
daughters now, are you
feeling comfortable there?
Once you hold them, it's not
that easy to change places"

The nurse told the blonde,
gifting him a reassuring smile when
the Australian nodded unsure.

He was a little overwhelmed
with the whole situation since
everything he and his husband
had planned had been ruined the
moment their little girls decided
to come four weeks too early.

Felix had already been suffering
a lot during his pregnancy,
having epilepsy and fatigue
syndrome had made things
a lot more complicated.

And the fact that there had been
two little beans growing in his
tummy hadn't been helpful.

The high risk pregnancy had
forced the freckled Australian to
stay in bed for almost his entire
pregnancy, it was too dangerous
for him and the babies to work or
even just do light house chores.

And it had been so hard for him.

Chan was working all day to bring
enough money home for food and
all the stuff they'd need for their
kids and once he was home,
he was the one cooking healthy
meals for his expecting husband,
cleaning the house, setting up the
nursery and helping Felix bathe.

The younger male hated it,
he hated being a burden and the
reason for the never disappearing
frown on Chan's face.

Of course they did what they had
to do for the sake of their children
but nobody said it was easy.

And when the ravenette's water
broke one night without any
particular reason but four and a half
weeks before their twins' due date,
Chan really thought he'd
lose his family.

All in all it was probably the most
terrifying and traumatizing night
for the couple since their two
little girls had been born through
an emergency c-section.

They had been so tiny when
the doctors had rushed them to
the NICU while their mommy stayed
back at the operating room,
unconscious and fighting
for his life.

And Chan hadn't been able to
do anything, he had only waited
and prayed for his loved ones to
be alright all alone in the middle
of the night.

"Hana still needs the oxygen tubs,
her lungs aren't developing as fast
as her sisters so you need to be
careful with her tube"

The nice nurse, Yoohyeon,
explained quietly before she
placed the tiny light pink bundle
in the blonde's arms, helping
him adjust the tiny baby.

Today was a very special day
for the small family and it was even
sadder that Felix couldn't witness it,
the two Aussies had really looked
forward to their first 'kangaroo-care.'
