"Shhh princess, it's nighty time
and everyone else is sleeping
so we gotta be quiet.
Uncle Minnie needs a
lot of rest now, hm?"

Chan rocked his daughter softly
in his arms as he stroked gently
over her head, feeling the fluff of
soft black hair against his palm.

But the tiny girl had other plans and
just gurgled happily as she suckled
on her daddy's hoodie string.

For some reason Mirae never
slept like she was supposed to be.

Not the normal waking up every
few hours because of a dirty diaper
or an empty stomach, no.

Mirae always woke up at around
midnight, completely awake,
energetic and excited for some
attention from her parents.

And since her daddy's sleeping
schedule was just as messed up he
always had some time in the middle
of the night to tire his little girl out.

The sound of someone sneaking
downstairs made the Australian's
furry ears twitch and the tiny girl
in his arms immediately squeaked
at the sight of one of her uncles.

"Hyunjin?"

"Yeah.."

"Why are you up?"

Chan wondered before he placed
a long kiss on his daughter's
cute chubby freckled cheek.

"The pup was hungry but
Minnie is taking care of her.
He wants a midnight snack though"

The panther hybrid chuckled as
he shook Mirae's tiny chubby hand
she had reached out to him.

"And you?"

"Midnight till 1am is the
princess's prime time."

And the small kitten agreed with
her daddy by squealing cutely.

"Alright.
Do you want something
to eat too?"

"No, we're good.
We'll just play another
round of 'finding matching
socks in the laundry basket.'
Mirae is surprisingly bad at it,
she's extremely good at drooling
on them though"

Chan chuckled as he adjusted
the giggling little girl on his arms
and kissed her head gently.

"Bye cutie, have fun!"

The tiredness was obvious in
Hyunjin's voice but nevertheless
he cooed when Mirae gave him
one of her precious sunshine
dimple smiles.
