CHAPTER 13

EFOSA'S  POV

"You see its not too hard, volumetric analysis is like the most easiest part of chemistry" I said to her

"Maybe for you, I'm still slacking behind. You make chemistry look less terrifying and simple than the way it already is, you're practically a reborn of Albert Einstein" she exaggerated 

Ok ouch! That hurt alot, but I'll take that as a compliment.

I've been trying to teach this girl a simple topic for the past 1 hour 30 minutes and she still doesn't get it.

"I don't just get chemistry at all, its just too hard. I'm dead meat when our exams start" she said helplessly right before she collapsed on the floor like a dead animal.

"I can see the light, is that you Jesus?" She said while playing dead

I'm no doctor, but this girl is high and can also be a drama queen. I never pictured her to be a very funny person like this. No wonder she's very popular at school.

Note to self "never judge a book by its cover"

"Ok! So what do you suggest we do?" I asked while helping her up.

"Watch a movie" she said while pouting like a five year old 

"Nice try, but my answer is no!!" I said with a smile

"Look! Work and no play makes John a dull boy" she said with a smirk

"Ok! Fine, We'll watch a movie" i said in defeat 

"So what do you wanna watch?" I asked while waiting in anticipation as she thinks.

"We could watch....." 

"What's up? Love birds!!!" Edosa  yelled while interrupting Itohan's speech

"What do you want Edosa?" I asked sounding a  bit rude than I expected 

"I see you guys are through studying, well that's nice" he said ignoring my question

"Sorry I didn't introduce myself dear, I'm Edosa; Efosa's older and the more good looking brother and you must be?" he said while taking her hand slightly by surprise

Flirt alert!!!

"I'm Itohan" she said with a disgusted tone, but Edosa didn't notice. 

Clearly she's uncomfortable about his sudden move on her. I guess I'm not the only one who finds Edosa annoying.

"Niceeee. So what are you up to?" He asked her in particular clearly ignoring my presence.

That's it!!! I'm fed up

"Edosa!!! You barged into my room unannounced, now you're flirting with my classmate what's your problem"I said fuming with rage. 

"Do you know what my problem is? You clearly left me downstairs alone without any help"

"I told you to cover up for me, but you didn't. Aunt Linda almost reported me to Mum and Dad. While your here with your silly hook up babe..."

"I'm sorry I have to go" Itohan said before racing out of my room

"My only chance of making a friend and you blew it, hope you're happy now?" I said before racing after Itohan.

Racing downstairs I was stopped by Aunt Linda 

"Efosa what happened I noticed Itohan race out of your room"  She asked with a feeling of concern

"I'll tell you about it later, I need to go after her" I said before exiting the house

"Itohan wait up!!!" I said while racing after her but she kept on speed walking.

With short legs like hers she could actually walk this far.

"What do you want Efosa, we'll meet at school anyways" she said while increasing her pace.

"I'm sorry my brother called you a slut, he can be a jerk at times" I said while obstructing her.

"Get out off my way Efosa, I'm not mad at your brother" she replied 

Seriously, I don't just get girls why then was she mad.

I gave her a oblivious look then she face palmed herself before replying.

"I was mad at the fact that you didn't stand up for me, I thought we were actually becoming friends"

FRIEND!!!

Did she just say the "F" word. I haven't actually had a friend before most especially a girl.

"Hello!! Earth to Efosa" she said while snapping her fingers bringing me back to reality.

"Like I said, you would have stood up for me when your brother insulted me" 

"Oh!" Was all i could say, I didn't really know how to respond to her.

"So...I'm waiting" she said while waiting for a response

"I'm sorry" I apologized 

"No problem, Apology accepted" she said with a smile

"It's already late I better head home now" she said while checking her iphone

"Sure, if i may ask where do you live cause you didn't ask for the password to the Estate's main entrance" I asked when realization hit me.

Instead of a reply she did the most shocking thing, she burst out laughing 

"If you haven't noticed I leave in the same estate as you, I leave about a street away from your house" she explained 

"Oh! How come I never noticed you around?"  I asked still confused

"I should ask you the same, you clearly don't come out often. You always stay indoors, the only time i see you is actually in the evening's when you take out the trash"  she explained 

No wonder!!! She knew where I lived, but yet she still made me send my address to her.

"I'll see you tomorrow at school, bye Efosa" she said while waving me goodbye then continued her walk back home.

"Bye!!"

I guess I should head home now.
