Before the tears began to pour
I had to turn around
Hid my face behind the door
So my last three students
Didn't have to see
Their always smiling teacher
Break down in front of them
Instead i was silent
And wiped my tears away
To listen to them
Counting by fives
So i could tell them
"I am so proud"
