Chapter 2 - Puzzles

Here we go again.

"And puzzle solved. Easy."

Zane shoved the last rock out of the way and was now able to move on to the next puzzle.
When he did head that way, he saw a girl. A demon girl.

Her hair was shorter and she was sharply dressed like Lucifer, only she wore it with a skirt rather than pants.

She looked tired. Like she hasn't slept for days.

She had a name tag that read "Pandemonica, the tired demon."

"Welcome to Hell's customer service, how many I serve you?" She asked with absolutely no emotion.

'She could rival Koneko with that voice. Quick, think of a retort that's smart!'

"Maybe I can serve you?" Zane offered.

She slumped over looking relieved.

"Really? That would be nice. I could go for my coffee right about now."

'Shit that worked!?!? Alright, don't question it!'

With that he moved to the next puzzle with Pandemonica following behind him.

Soon, they were at the next puzzle.

"Ok... So this one shouldn't be too bad. Gimme a second to work it out." Zane said analysing the entire thing.

Pandemonica just watched him.

"... Aren't you going to solve it?"

"Monica, no war General goes into battle without a plan. Well, not a good one anyway."

"Monica?"

"Nickname, I can stop calling you that if you don't like it."

"...... No."

She liked it. Not sure why, but she liked it.
She never had a nickname before.

After a minute, Zane stepped forward to go and take on the puzzle. Pandemonica watched as he just went straight through the puzzle. There were rocks, spikes that had to be timed and other stuff in the way and he just walked through without stopping.

She almost shouted a "what the fuck is wrong with you?" but she was surprised when nothing hurt him or stopped him, he went straight to one end where there was a key and made his way back to where the locked gate to the exit was.

"... He's not human." She said, too tired to be shocked much, but it was still surprising.

She followed him to the exit and when they got there, they met another girl.

"I thought I smelled Horni around here, or that's just her aphrodisiac." Pandemonica said. She looked up to Zane who seemed to be taller than all of them. "Be careful around her."

This new girl was dressed similarly to Pandemonica. Her hair was longer and had heart pins in it. She had a constant blush and hearts in her eyes.

Her name tag read "Modeus. The lustful demon."

She looked to Zane.

"You and me. Now." She said more as a demand than a request.

'Hmm... Even for a lustful demon, this feels too forward. This is a trick. Well played Lucy, well played.'

Zane pushed her aside and said the only thing that came to mind.

"No time, busy gathering demon girls!"
