Ah shit, here we go again.

Let's start this shit again.

It's been a month now since Koneko saw her friend Zane dead. Nothing at the moment. No signs that he's coming back.

She's given up on the idea of him not really being gone. There's no point in having pointless hope.
She can only hope he's down there plowing demon girls.

Koneko sits under the tree alone, first time she's spent her break alone like this in a while and she doesn't like it.

Looking to her side, she is once again reminded that he's not here. She placed a hand where he would be normally lying down. It just doesn't feel right having this empty spot next to her.

It makes her feel especially bad that she hasn't shed a single tear. She's sad, but she just won't cry. She doesn't know why.

She's still in shock about it honestly. She may not have been very close with him, but he was still a good friend to her. Everytime he was here he would ask how she was, how her day of school is going and not pry too much into anything. He would just ask those two questions and let her be. He didn't disturb her when she clearly didn't want to be disturbed.

"... Hmm?"

Suddenly her attention is drawn somewhere. Somewhere out of the school. She feels something in a direction away from the school not far.

It felt like multiple different powers all gathered in one place. Each of which was strong. Some far above others, but they were still high up there.

One of them though, felt rather... familiar. Like she knew that presence before and now it has come back as power rather than just presence.

After thinking about it for a minute, her eyes widen a slight bit.

"... Zane?"
.
.
.
.
"Look at that thicc boi. Beautiful."

Zane flipped a pancake off the pan and onto a stack of three other pancakes. That's how he likes them. The ones he does for the others have to be rolled up with chocolate in them. He likes them that way too, but some days he just goes for the simple version.

"There's an elegance in simplicity I say."

He put a cover over his pancakes to stop the heat from escaping it.

"Now, onto these ones."

He moved to address the other ones.
It took him a little bit of effort and one of them may have fucked up a little, but he got them all rolled up and he now had a nice stack of chocolate pancakes on a tray.

"Lucy!"

In a second Lucifer was next to him.

"You beautiful man hand them over!" She demanded.

She took three and was now focused on them.

"Right, imma hand these out to the rest of the girls. Brb." He stepped out of the kitchen and went to the living room where the others were sitting.

They were all getting use to the house, looking around. Thankfully, they haven't touched a certain room. He should make it clear that that room isn't to be touched.

"Alright who the fuck wants a pancake?"
.
.
.
Zane is standing in the kitchen. He practically inhaled his pancakes and now is focusing on what his next job is. Pandemonica's coffee.

She's been waiting on it and he knows how to make good coffee, better make it worth that wait.

"That is perfect." He said and went off with the cup in his hand.
