Natasha x Reader
Short because I don't know anything about home birth

NATASHA POV:
"Natty I just wanna cuddle" Y/n whines stretching her arms over to me. I shook my head with a chuckle as I placed the bags in front of us
"Y/n, your 9 months pregnant, due the baby girl any minute now. This not an appropriate time for cuddles" i stressed throwing my arms about
"But I wanna a cuddle" Y/n cried slumping back down on the sofa, my heart broke for her and I really just wanted to give her the biggest cuddle ever but I didn't want that baby popping out because of it
"Y/n"
"Y/N, stop" I shouted, I listened to the outside and all I could hear was rain and storms of thunder. I panicked realising we couldn't drive to the hospital in this storm, especially with the lightning that was striking. I've never seen it so bad before
"Natty what's going on" Y/n sniffles and looked up. I quickly went over to her and sat beside her on the sofa and took her hands in mine on my lap
"There's a massive storm outside baby, i don't think it's safe to drive to the hospital" I said nervously biting my lip and fiddling with Y/n's fingers
"B-But how, Nat how are- Natasha I can't" Y/n said in a panicked state. I immediately grabbed her hands and pulled her body closer to me
"It's okay, we'll do it Y/n. Everything gonna be okay" I soothed reaching my arm over and rubbing Y/n's arm and waist as she cried into my shoulder.
"I'm gonna call some midwife's Y/n and see what to do, everything's gonna be alright" I said gently and kissed her head. I was quick to grab my phone out my pocket and make that call.
After a long discussion with the doctors and midwives they had managed to get to our house safely without anything going wrong on the way here which was excellent
"Natasha" Y/n sobbed as she held onto my arms, i shush her down in hopes she would take some deep breaths
"Y/n. It's okay, she's gonna be healthy, everything alright" I cooed and rubbed my thumb on her cheek, she sniffles more but nodded her head.
The midwives had set everything up for the home birth we weren't expecting, Y/n got herself situated and we all just had to wait until our baby girl started to come out
"Y/n, I need you to breathe" The midwife told her as Y/n cried looking over in my direction, my heart hurt so bad watching her in this state and I couldn't help but rush over to her
"Y/n, breathe. It's okay, everything's fine" I coped again and rubbed the side of her head comfortingly. Y/n started to take deep breaths and look forward again
Y/n took bigger breaths as she started pushing, she gripped tightly onto my arm almost making it white. Luckily it didn't hurt and she started pushing harder.
She let out a loud groan as i kept praising her for what she was doing. Tears fell from mine and Y/n's eyes as we waited for this moment we longed for
"You did it" I almost screamed as our baby cries started. Y/n gasped throwing her hand over her mouth as she closed her eyes and threw her head back in disbelief
"You did my love, you did it" I whispered pressing my forehead against her's. We both laughed with tears streaming down her face. She panted heavily as the midwife handed over our baby girl into Y/n's arms.
"A healthy little baby girl" She smiled, we both gasped as i leant over not believing the moment I was in.
"We did Natasha, we" Y/n smiled readily up at me, i sniffled and nodded my head. Y/n chuckled and started to hand over our baby to me.
I looked at her and she nodded her head. I smiled again and took my baby girl in my arms and rocked her as she cried slightly. I hummed a soft lullaby I would sometimes sing to Y/n as watched as our baby stopped crying. I couldn't believe the moment I was in, having my baby girl in my arms and my other baby girl who I have been married 3 years to, just gave birth. If I was told this happened when I was 22 I would never ever have believed it.
