Y/N'S POV
My mom has been married to a Colin for almost four years, Rose is seven and i have a one year old baby brother who is soaking up most of the attention.
Mom finished her project my mothers wedding and as it was summer, we obviously didn't have school or anything and mom said she wouldn't take up anymore roles until we go back. Colin has taken time of work to spend with us as well which is sweet.
"Hey baby, are you ready to go" Mom asked standing in my door frame, i turned around quickly as i jumped by surprise
"Yeah my suitcase it there" i said pointing to my suitcase that was full next to mom's foot.
"Ah thanks sweetheart" She said taking my suitcase and leaving my room. I sighed and followed after her
"Is everyone here and ready to go" Mom asked looking at all of us in the kitchen while we waited for Colin to grab his coat
"Why don't we leave Y/n here" Rose joked giggling at herself, mom gave her a stern look which made her shut up.
"Alright let's go" Colin said grabbing the car keys and unlocking the front door. We all trailed out after each other as Colin carried Cosmo and Rose ran ahead.
"Mom can you sit in the trunk seats with me" I asked shy-ly fiddling with my hands. Mom ignored me and finished packing up the trunk with our suitcases
"Mama" I asked again but poking her arm. She hummed and walked round to the passenger side getting ready to get in
"Can you sit in the trunk seats with me" I asked again but with more hope that I had last time
"Baby I hate the trunk seats I'm sorry, sit next to rose in the back. You'll be alright" Mom said patting my back. I sighed and walked away and climbed over and into the trunk seats, i was not sitting next to Rose.
"Off we go" Colin said cheerily, a 4 hour road trip with these melons was the last thing I wanted to do.
There you have it, 30 minutes into the road trip and I felt so sick. I forgot to even think about the travel sickness and sitting all the way back here was not helping at all.
I decided to shut my eyes and lean my head against the window in hopes it would just pass. With Colin's bad driving, my head kept banging off of it and making my head hurt
I took a deep breath and pulled my phone out of my pocket and tapped on my mom's contact
