Troy Walsh. I completely forgot to mention him. Not only was that Mike's new best friend, that was the guy that Jane decided to cheat on Mike with.
I decided one day to linger in the locker room at the community pool once, to shower and throw dry clothes on, when I noticed Mike leaving through the gate. It was interesting to see him leave without Jane, but it wasn't that big of a deal, he looked relatively happy. Which I never really saw when he was alone anymore. He always had a serious look on his face when he wasn't with his friends. I wonder what he's thinking about all the time now.
As I went to leave the locker room, I noticed Jane and Troy. They were in the office area behind the check-in desk, where usually only the lifeguards worked, making out as if nobody could see them. On one hand it was good they didn't think anyone was there, because I managed to get a photo on Jonathan's camera that I swore I would use as secret blackmail for Jane ever she decided to be a jerk to me. I told myself the minute Jane did anything to hurt me, I would expose her ass.
I haven't threatened to use it yet, but on Saturday? That all changed.
