<FOR CREW EYES ONLY>

The purpose of this training video is to overview protocol for the last phase of Survival Training.

Carrying out the mission is of great import. Survival is key to ensuring mission success. There are events and conditions which may deter mission success. Thus, you will undergo training in the wilderness of Quebec, Canada to gain experience and apply prior training to instances of survival and mission success.

Similar to the Geological Readiness certificate, this event is Pass/Fail. However, unlike the Geological Readiness, this event will span ten days and there are no formal events.

Last Phase of Survival Training

· Candidates will be parachute on randomly assigned parts of the grid site

· Candidates will be allotted appropriate rations

· Candidates will have be allowed interface communication in the event of emergency

· Once interface communication is initiated, the Training will be forfeit

· Two attempts are allowed before the Candidate is no longer deemed applicable for this or future missions

This is a ten-day exercise. Should you reach base camp before the ten-day mark, you will be awarded an additional ration allotment for the mission.

Additionally:

· Candidates are expected to complete the training on foot

· Inclement weather conditions will not postpone the training exercise

Should infection, lacerations, or frost-bite occur, Candidates may choose to:

· Signal for help via their Interface

· Apply the Heating Apparatus or Clot Me! in their packs

· Utilize the Dura-Laser to cauterize as needed

*Note: As mentioned in previous Training Modules, Dura-Tech is not government approved for quarantine situations. This should not deter Candidates from doing what is needed in emergencies. In particular, case studies have displayed viability of Dura amputations in the event of large-scale infection or blood clots.
