The glitter in his eyes, left me amazed. The deafening silence ushered me into the living hall, where earlier everyone were struck on their own conversations. An immediate splash of nervousness crawled into me as his eyes chanced upon me, as if capturing a portrait picture of mine, mentally. Spontaneously, my head lowered to hide the rosy hue sprawling slowly on my cheeks.

"No way! I can't believe it. How could you deceive us in such a way!" My steps faltered as Vansh cried instantly, seeing me.

I stood, shell shocked while, Rihaan looked ready to strangle him to death. But, Vansh cared less about his glares as he proceeded to bawl his eyes out, frantically, hiding his face in the curve of Mahima aunty's shoulder.

"What happened, Vansh beta?" Papa ran to their direction as Sharad uncle and my Maa looked worried. Upon listening Papa's voice, Vansh sniffed before giving out a louder yelp and wailing out louder as he threw his arms around Papa's neck and hugged him, still bawling his eyes out.

"Mom, I told you. You never listened to me." Vansh pouted, before sitting on the sofa.

"What did you tell me?" Mahima aunty sat beside him, while all of our family members circled the sofa.

"Leave me. I'm a big boy now. No cuddle-puddle." Vansh wriggled out of aunty's embrace as he sat at one hand distance from aunty, snorting.

"Ask bhai. How does he know Bhavna mam's measurements?" Vansh focused his keen attention on Rihaan, who gave him an incredulous look.

"Rashmika aunty, ask them, what were they doing at Bhai's washroom for ten minutes?" He flashed his ten fingers before Maa. I could see, how embarrassed Maa was!

Rihaan's apologetic eyes suppressed the anger waging its tail in me. I kind of knew, Maa wouldn't believe me, when if I would say, nothing happened between us. Still, I was about to clarify things as I knew, Papa and Rihaan would support me. But, her stern tone cut me off.

"Vansh Beta, are you afraid that your friends would tease you for being an uncle at this age?" Vansh nodded, pouting. I was shocked again, while, Papa sighed in relief. Maa, Mahima aunty, and Sharad uncle roared in laughter. I couldn't believe, my mother just cracked a joke and laughed.

"Stop it, guys!" Rihaan grumbled under his breath as I could see the tips of his ear, tinted red as he facepalmed.

"Without any measurements, he designed this dress, personally and it's a fit. I can't believe it!" Vansh stood on his knees on the sofa, as their eyes paralleled.

"I've experience of designing dresses, if you forgot."

"I agree, you've experience on designing but, you have null experience on designing or making a dress without measurement. Deny me." Vansh challenged him. "How do you know her measurements?" He stubbornly inquired him.

Rihaan smacked Vansh's forehead as his voice roared in the hall,"Dumbass, Bhavna is my wife. How can I gaze at others like I stared at-"

I could feel blood gushing to my cheeks as I felt too hot, under everyone's amused glances at me. At that mean time, his eyes rested on me, mid-sentence. His words faltered as he stuttered, making me shift from a foot to another.
