[Annika - A, Shivaay - S, Gauri - G, Rudra - Ru]

Only 10 days were left for the wedding. Annika was getting lights set up in the mansion. Dance rehearsals were going great. Om and Gauri got caught romancing multiple times by the youngsters and by now even the elders could sense something fishy was going on.

Annika came back after dropping Sahil and pulled Gauri aside.

A: Gauri, I need you to wrap early today and go home.

G: Why di?

A: Sahil had a slight temperature. Jaya aunty (their neighbor) will check up on him in a few hours. I can't go because the caterers are bringing food for tasting. I have to fix the menu today

G: Okay di, I'll leave early. Don't worry

In the evening Annika got the family to assemble at the dining table and they finalized the menu after tasting.

Annika received a call from a frantic Gauri

G: Di, Sahil is unconscious, I've tried to wake him up but he's not responding. I don't know what to do. He's burning up

A: Gauri, stop crying. This is not going to help him. Book a cab and get to Dr. Dixit's clinic right now. I'll call him up to let him know

G: Di, I'm scared

A: I'll be there Gauri. Leave now

Annika quickly called Sahil's paediatrician Dr. Dixit and informed him. She searched for Daadi to inform her that she had to leave.

A: Pinky aunty, have you seen daadi?

Pinky: Mummyji just went out with Shakti ji for a walk. You tells me beta what you needs

A: I need to leave aunty, Sahil is seriously unwell

Pinky: Oh, go beta, you go and take cares

Shivaay saw her wipe a tear as she put her helmet on and start the scooty

S(in his mind): What happened to her? Was she crying?

Shivaay went inside and saw his mother nearby

S: Mom, where's Annika?

Obviously, he wasn't going to ask his mother directly why she left early or why she was crying

Pinky: she just left, Sahil is unwell

S: Oh, okay

S(in his mind): Oh her son is sick. Gauri probably left early because of that only. Being a single working mom is so hard. I hope he gets well soon. Poor Annika works so hard for her family

The doctor examined Sahil and gave him an injection

DrDixit: he'll be fine, his fever was too high so he fainted. We'll keep him here tonight for observation and test his blood for any infections
