[Annika - A, Shivaay - S, Gauri - G]

Annika was sitting in her office with some clients, discussing the budget and plans for an event. Her phone began to ring but she didn't pay any attention to it and put it on vibrate. Her phone rang again. She checked the called ID, it was Gauri. Gauri wouldn't call her unnecessarily

A: excuse me, I need to take this

Annika answered the call

G: di (panic was evident in her voice)

A: what happened Gauri?

G: di jeeju...

She sniffled

G: di jeeju's car met with an accident with a truck

Annika's heart stopped, and she held the table for support.

G: Om and Rudra have gone to get him. We got to know from the news on TV.

Annika disconnected the call and ran out of the room. Rohit saw her leave in such a state so he went to her cabin and covered for her with the clients

Annika jumped inside her car and began driving. She didn't know where she was going, she couldn't think straight

A: Please God, please don't do this to me again

She called Rudra

A: where?

That's all she could manage to say. Rudra understood and he shared the location they were headed to.

As soon as she heard the word 'truck', all the bad memories from 9 years ago came back flooding. Her mother dying on the spot, her father somehow managing to get help and her becoming an orphan all over again. She wiped the tears from her eyes to see the road clearly.

A: Please be ok, please be ok Shivaay.

She drove quickly, chanting prayers for him, begging god to keep him safe.

There were a lot of people crowding the place, no truck was in sight though. A police car was visible but no ambulance yet. She pushed people aside to get through the crowd to find Shivaay.

She ran as fast as she could through that crowd and when she spotted him, her heart rejoiced.

A: Shivaay!!!

He turned to look in the direction of her voice and she ran into his arms, holding him securely in hers. She broke the hug but didn't move away, there was physically no gap between their bodies. She cupped his face and examined him for any injuries. Shivaay had a bruise on his forehead but that was all she could see

A: Aap theek hain? {{Are you okay?}}

Shivaay wiped her tears

S: I'm fine Annika, I'm okay

She hugged him again and he caressed her hair. Om and Rudra reached that moment and they joined in the hug.

Om: Shivaay tu theek hai na? Tujhe kahin lagi to nahi {{Shivaay are you okay? Are you hurt?}}

S: yes guys I'm fine

Ru: bhaiyya hum bahut darr gaye the. Aapne call karke bataya kyu nahi aap safe hain {{We got really scared bhaiyya. Why didn't you call to inform us you were safe}}
