[Annika - A, Shivaay - S, Rudra - Ru, Gauri - G]

Annika and Sahil waited at the bus stop at 7 in the morning for his school bus. It was the first day of the new academic year. It had been over 15 minutes but the bus hadn't come. Annika called the driver and he informed her that he was asked to skip their stop today. So Annika called the school management to get some answers

Admin: ma'am we have started the relieving process for Sahil, so there's no need for him to come

A: but why? What do you mean by relieving process?

Admin: uhh you know since he's leaving the school. The transfer certificate and other paperwork will be ready in 2 days

A: arey but how can you do this? How can you cancel his admission?

Admin: ma'am we didn't. Your husband said Sahil is changing schools

A: what? No no no there's some misunderstanding. Please stop this process, Sahil loves this school, we are not changing. And how can you even begin the process without my approval? I'm his legal guardian, don't you need my signature to do this?

Admin: Ma'am your husband called so we thought it must be a joint decision. And he's Shivaay Singh Oberoi, how could we say no

A: This is highly irresponsible of you. Any powerful person will call you and you'll do whatever they say? The school is not authorised to take any such steps without the parent's approval. So stop the process, we are not switching schools. I'm bringing Sahil over, make sure the bus drops him off in the afternoon

Admin: yes ma'am I'll handle it. Sorry for the misunderstanding

Annika was fuming

Sahil: what happened didi? What were you saying to them about changing schools?

A: Nothing, come let's go, you'll get late

They rode on the scooty and Annika drove as fast she could safely do and dropped Sahil just in time for the morning assembly. Then it took her almost an hour to get back home in the morning traffic.

By now she was enraged. She went inside the house with determined steps. Rudra was about to wish her good morning but Gauri held his hand to stop him. She whispered to him

G: something is wrong, di is very angry. It's better if we stay away from her right now

Ru: I've never seen annika bhabhi get angry

G: she doesn't get angry very easily. Must be something serious. But where is she coming from? She went to drop Sahil off an hour ago

Ru: let's wait till breakfast

Annika entered her room, she was so mad at Shivaay that she had to curb the urge to smash something. Shivaay was sitting on the couch, all dressed up for work, sipping his espresso and reading the newspaper

S: where were you? You've been gone for so long, it's time for breakfast. I have to talk to you about something

Annika saw admission papers of some school lying on the table. She picked them up and stared at him

A: what is this?

S: that's what I was going to tell you, these are admission forms for Sahil in the best school in Mumbai. I've filled everything, just need your signatures
