I was peacefully walking on the sidewalk of the road when I heard a group of protesters passing by on the intersection of the road near our university. They all wanted to take down the current higher ups of their college department.

"Mmm?" I answered.

"Nasa quadrangle ako ah, baka mamaya dumiretso kana sa first class eh."

I sighed before entering the campus.

And there, Jaiyana just spilled it.

I saw the posts of some students in social media, ayaw daw umalis ng current president and vice president ng organization sa college of education. All the students in that department knew how disorganised they are, well based on what I've seen on the internet and online protest.

"Bakit ba kasi ayaw pang bumaba ng higher ups nila, ano uhaw sa posisyon?" Jaiyana stated before opening her bottled water.

They are all quiet now, but still standing straight while holding their banners.

"Sana magawan na ng paraan 'yan, they all wanted an organized organization. Kaya nga org eh. Tara na nga." She then said before holding my arm. Well it became her hobby, ang humawak sa braso ko.

We arrived at our first class at ilang sandali lamang ay dumating na rin ang professor namin para sa subject na political law.

I was sitting on the second to the last row beside the window, mahangin kasi rito.

"Okay now, why do you think that the 1987 Philippine Constitution is the highest law of the land?"

As our prof asked that, hindi na ako nag-dalawang isip pa na magtaas ng kamay.

"Yes, Ms. Decebal." He said before gesturing his hand to allow me to stand and speak.

"Well, as you have mentioned in the last meeting regarding constitutional supremacy. One of its basic principles is that it is the supreme law of the land." Sagot ko.
