Chapter 5

A week has passed since the day na sinabi ko kay Loize na I'll court him.

Wala namang masyadong nangyari because he was busy preparing for his 1st day in college at bilang supportive na soon to be gf and future wife ay hindi ko na siya masyadong ginulo.

Throughout the week I just keep on sending him random messages, pictures of myself, songs like When I Met you by Justin Vasquez, Babalik Sayo by Moira and the list goes on.

But he was just ignoring me! I didn't pester him at their house kasi baka nga busy talaga sila dahil kahit si Rap at Katherine ay hindi rin ma-contact. buti pa ko, next week pa yung start.

Today is the official start of their school kaya naman I'll bring him breakfast.

TallyCrz: Are you up na?

TallyCrz: Baka ma-late ka!

loize_rmz: Gising na ko.

He replied!

I didn't replied back dahil baka pagdating ko sa kanila ay naka-alis na siya.

I went straight to the bathroom to rinse my face and brush my teeth. Naligo naman ako kagabi so okay na yan. Naglakad na ko papunta sa cabinet ko when I saw the clock hanging on the wall.

It's already 6:30 am and 7:00 am yung pasok niya. How did I know? blockmates sila nila Katherine and Rap.

I just grab a hoodie and wear it over my pajamas, tie my hair into a high bun, apply some lip balm and I hurriedly went down the stairs.

"Hija, ang aga mo naman gumising." Manang said.

"Good morning din po! Gising na po ba si Kuya Jose?"

"Nasa garahe na anak, nagkakape."

"Pasabi po kayla Mom may pinuntahan lang."

Tinignan ko ang phone ko and it's already 6:40.

"Morning Kuya, drive thru po tayo sa mcdo then diretso po kayla Loize"

I said while heavily panting. Dapat pala mas maaga pa akong gumising! Next time nalang.

Kinuha ko ang phone ko and I took a shot of the road and posted it on my ig story with the caption: otw to you...

Wala pang ilang minuto ay nag-reply agad ang aking 'groupmates'

"Talliah, Tally" Nagising ako sa pag-alog ni Kuya Jose sa aking balikat.

"Nandito na tayo."

"Thanks Kuya!"

kinuha ko ang plastic na may lamang pancakes, apple pie and coffee at mabilis na bumaba sa kotse.

Bago pindutin yung doorbell ay kinuha ko muna yung phone ko para manalamin.

I look o-okay naman...sana!

I rang the doorbell and after a minute or two ay nakita ko si ate Jossie na papunta sa gate.

"Talliah, ikaw na ba yan?" Masayang sabi ni ate.

"Long time no see ate!"

Madalas kaming tumambay noon dito nung grade 12 kasi pinipilit ko si Katherine na dito siya mag-aral para isama niya rin ako.
