For years, SCP Foundation managed to study thousands of anomalies, and contained most of them in cells. During one of containment breaches, something went wrong, and together with SCPs, MTFs found themselves in a completely new reality. But was it t...

Your POV: After coming back from level 777, our relations with the SCPs were better than ever. It was completely against the protocol to have any sympathy for them, but at that point, there was nobody who would punish us for breaking this rule. Even me and Thomas weren't afraid of being in one room with 106 and 953, but it doesn't mean we didn't have any incidents. For example, one time Thomas got his nose broken for accidentally opening a bathroom door, while 953 was taking a bath. Why did she have a heavy book in there? I never found out, but it had hit his nose before he was able to close the door.
We had to call 049 to do a check-up on him, and as it turned out, his nose was broken, and blood was dripping from it extremely quickly. Luckily we managed to stop the bleeding, and 049 managed to help him with the broken nose, but it didn't save Thomas from 953's anger when she finally left the bathroom. She began cursing at him and promised that if something like that happened again, she would beat him until he lost his consciousness.
Since that incident he made a note for himself and put it on a fridge, to knock on the door first and not go inside immediately. But except for this single incident, nothing bad was happening in our apartment. However, SCP-239, who was living in the same building, was extremely angry since we came back from that level because she didn't get her powers back. To calm her down, 035 suggested going to level 37 and taking a relaxing bath in there. On the other hand, we wouldn't be able to meet each other on this level, so once again, we had to rely on 953's telepathy.
- Why is it always me, who has to keep everyone connected? - She asked slightly annoyed.
- Because you are the best with it 953. - I told her with a smile.
- Yeah, sure Y/N, or maybe because I am the only one, who can control telepathy?
- Yes, that too, but without you, most of us wouldn't have made it out of level 0 in the first place. - I spoke, and it wasn't a lie, because thanks to her many SCPs managed to find the entire group.
- Ugh... Fine, I will set up a connection between us, and I will go in there too. - She responded with visible boredom. - I am actually curious about what this level looks like, but don't think I will stay in there for too long.
- I am glad we have reached an agreement. - I spoke, satisfied with her response.
Together with a few other people, we approached The Blue Channel once again, and after swimming through the abyss between levels, we found ourselves on level 37. It was just as the MEG told us, and apparently, the water truly was anomalous, as immediately after entering this level, I felt calm and relieved, and this effect was similar to touching SCP-999. It was significantly weaker though, and the water in this place wasn't particularly deep, which allowed me to swim without having to worry about drowning.
I had spent almost fifteen minutes swimming across the entire level, before I got bored, and decided to come back. With telepathy, I asked 953 if I could talk with 239.
- 953, could you open a connection between me and 239?
- Why? - She asked me curiously.
- I have to ask her something. - I responded without revealing too much data.
- Okay, give me a moment, I will do that for you.
After a few seconds, I heard 239 in my head, which meant, 953 made a connection between us.
- 239? How are you feeling? - I tried to be nice to her.
- A bit better, but I am still mad.
- Why? You got us a lot of rare resources, why aren't you satisfied? - I asked, confused.
- Because I wanted to get my powers back, but these idiots refused to play with me for some reason, instead giving me all of this stuff before telling me to go away! - She spoke with anger, which I could easily sense even with just the telepathic connection.
- Why would they do that?
- I-I think they might have found out who I am, and they got scared. But I have no idea how did they know about my father, Scarlet King?
- They got scared because they have found out you are his daughter? Then they might have some connections with him, and frankly speaking, knowing Scarlet King might be related to the Backrooms is... terrifying.
- Don't even tell me... I lost my only chance of getting my powers back and without them, I am just a regular human...
- 239. With or without powers, you are still our friend. Perhaps this incident in the facility had to happen, so both of us could realize that despite our differences, we don't have to fight.
- That could happen only in a perfect universe, and something like that doesn't exist.
- Who knows? The multiverse is huge, and we have no idea what can be found out there. Perhaps a being from another universe is watching us right now, and we may never know. - I spoke with a laugh.
- Maybe you are right Y/N... Thanks for cheering me up... - She said, and even though I couldn't see her, I knew she was smiling.
- No problem, I am going back to level 11, so I will meet you there.
Having said that, I went back to the point where I appeared and entered the Blue Channel to return to my apartment on level 11, where I found 953 drying her hair with a towel.
- I see you also came back already. - She said while looking at me. - Did you get bored in there Y/N?
- I could ask you the same question 953. - I responded jokingly.
- Call me Young-Jae, not 953... - She said and revealed her true name to me. A name, which nobody was ever able to get from her during the interviews.
- Is that your real name? - I asked her just to be sure.
- Yes, but if you tell anybody then I am going to throw you out of a window. - She threatened me and pulled out a hidden knife.
-Okay, fine, I won't tell anyone! - I immediately responded in order not to get thrown out of the window. - But I have a question. A few days ago, when we were on level 777, why did you take this bet? Like, what would you do if you lost?
- I couldn't lose, because I had an advantage over this guy. You remember that I have access to telepathy, don't you? - She said with a, to me, well-known sadistic smile.
- Yes, but how was it supposed to help you? - I tried to understand her motivation.
- Simple, I just kept reading his mind to see which cards he had, and because of that there was no chance for me to lose unless I got some really bad cards multiple times in a row. I knew which cards I shouldn't throw on the pile, so he couldn't take them. - She said and began laughing. - Did you seriously think I would take this bet without calculating my chances to tear his liver from his body for suggesting that?!
- That's cheating! - I yelled at her. - What if people in there caught you doing that?!
- Neither of them had access to telepathy, and secondly, who is going to tell them? I believe you can keep this a secret Y/N, so that's why I am telling you.
- I can, I won't tell this to anyone, but still. What if, despite having this advantage, you somehow lost, even with that advantage, what would you do?
- If I lost? Did you even read my report, especially the addition?
- Let me guess... - I started thinking and quickly got my answer. - You would bite it off during a climax?
- Yep. - She started laughing again. - And after that I'd just leave him in there to either bleed out or pass out from the pain.
- Eh... - I sighed before going to the bathroom. - What else did I expect from you Young-Jae?
