I haven't heard anything from Adam since that day.
I tried to overcome him by trying to be in other relationships but things were not working out.
It's been such years still I'm not over him.
I have been searching for him for years...

I heard my cousin Amaika is in town for her studies.
She's a nice girl. I decided to meet her today but my friends got me into his party.
I was having no mood for partying.
I'm sitting on the bar counter alone sipping my vodka.
Suddenly I heard a loud bang from behind.

Two men were fighting hard.
Not my thing, I turned to walk back but......
"Adam....!" I whispered.
The one hitting the other person was him.
It's been long sixteen years since I last saw him.
He is no more the teenage boy he used to be there's more masculinity and maturity on his face. I was lost in the sight of him.

"Adam...!" A girly voice pulled me back.
Out of nowhere, Amaika is running towards him.
She stood in between them and pushed Adam back.
Suddenly Adam pulled her towards him and they kissed.
I have shattered once again. The same hatred that I once had towards Maya burned out one time again like a fire.

I started staking them everywhere.
He even bought her to his homeland.
The way he looked at her was different. To Maya the way looked at her was just like an infatuated teenage boy but now his look at her is with more care, love, and adoration.
I tried my best not to run my thoughts wild.
Until that day I saw them bonking in the car. I watched them from afar.
I broke me again.
All the hopes are of no use.
I have to do something about this bitch.

Present day:-

You....you were the one that sabotaged everything Maira screamed at me.
"Maira, you are just obsessed, try to control yourself. I said biting back my tears.
She laughed hysterically.
"Do you know? I planned to bring Aman here.
"Maira, please......stop this nonsense" I cried.
She laughed.
"It feels so good to watch the tears falling from your eyes".
"Watch her" she commanded to the fat man before leaving.
I cried hard after she left.
I heard loud thudding reaching me.
Suddenly the door opened.
It was Jacob.
I inhaled deeply.
He came and untied my hands.
"It was her" I whispered.
"He patted my shoulder.
"Don't cry, I Heard everything".
"Are you gonna help me get out of here?" I wiped my tears and asked.
"Yes, I promise" he smiled.
"I have a sister almost your age," he said.
"Hey, what's your name?".
"Amaika" I reply.
"Ok, so Amaika placed a camera here when I saw your sister here, so everything she said was recorded". He said.
"What?!!". I exclaimed.
"When you get out of here show this to everyone".
"Why are you risking yourself to help me?". I asked.
"Look, I was not doing the whole kidnapping thing, I did because of my family issues, so I want to do this" he sounds serious.
I gave him a weak smile.
"Both of us have to be careful okay"
"What about the other man?" I asked.
"He's too loyal to her".
"I'll find a way to get a way to distract him".
"Amaika, I have to leave now". He smiled.
I nodded and smiled back.

It's been almost 4 weeks since I'm here.
Maira hasn't come back after that day and I don't know what all lies is she gonna say to everyone.
I became good friends with Jacob.
I told him everything about Adam.
His side of the story was that he was an earlier crack addict after his father's death, and now he's clean for 3 years.
Their family is in debt and he is desperately in need of money.
I promised to help him, but he denied.

Suddenly the door opened.
"Amaika, Maira is coming by today afternoon," he said.
"We have to get out of here today, prepare yourself for everything no matter what we'll go."
I nodded.

By afternoon Maira came.
"Hey bitch, he called in a mocking tone.
She came near to my face and gave me a hard slap. My cheeks are burning my eyes turned red shot.
"What jelly do you have which I don't?" She asked.
"I'm not a heartless person like you". I blurted out.
She laughed.
"You and she made me like this". She screamed.
She scoffed.
"Wanna hear what happened these days" she smirked.
