When I woke up, I was lying on the hospital bed.
I saw my mother sitting in the corner oozing out.
"Mom" I called her
"Amu" she looked up at me with teary eyes.
"I'm glad nothing more bad hasn't happened to you," she said crying.
"I'm alright mom"
"Err, how long I have been passed out," I asked.
"The wound on your hand was a little deep, you have been zoned off for 2 days, we all were so worried" she sobbed.
"I'm okay mom, where are others? I asked.
"They are with the police still many procedures are going through, we can that Pendrive, I can't believe all those things," she said.
"Where is she?" I asked.
"She's sent to the psychiatric ward," she said
"Mom! Where's Jacob? he helped me".
"He's fine too"
I breathe out in relief.
Suddenly the door opened.
Dad, Aman, and Adam came in talking.
I have never seen them in unison during these years.
I gave them a weak smile.
Dad came near me and kissed me on my forehead.
"How are you feeling? He asked.
"Umm, much better dad".
"Hey, Amu me and Adam are now like old Times," Aman said. I smiled at him.
"Let's give them a moment," Aman said.
Then they left.
It's now us.
"Hey, come here"
He sat on the bed near me.
"Amaika, she killed them," he said, teardrops reluctant to fall down his eyes.
I feel bad for him
I took his face in between my palms and gave him a soft kiss on his lips.
"I know, I missed this"
From the side, I saw his jaw twitch into a smile.
I leaned onto my shoulder. We were in that position for a long time until I felt wetness on my gown.
I pulled his face and made him look into my eyes.
"Your past is over, let bygones be bygones, let's start this freshly" I wiped his tears.
He smiled at me.

"How're things going between you and my family?" I asked.
"We talked and sorted things out I understand them and then did me too," he said.
"So, you got permission from my dad that we are official," I said happily.
"Yes we are," he said
He leaned and kissed me.

After 3 weeks I was discharged from the hospital.
The first thing I did was I went to Jacob's house he is doing fine and I gave him everything that I could to clear his debts even if he resisted.

Now, Sue, Viv, and are besties for life.
Life is really good now.
With Adam and all my dear ones.
We talked with Maya's parents.
They are coming back to normal life slowly.

3 months later

Today we are going to Adam's house in North Carolina with my parents and Amy is with us.
It's her and Aman's marriage next month.
I'm so happy for them.

When we got to his place there was also another person present there Mr. Schuler who seems so familiar to me.
"Ah!, You guys come on in" he invited us in.
"It's been a long time Anand" they hugged each other.
"You remember Benjamin" he pointed towards the other one.
"Omg, you are prof Lester". I said
"Yes, I remember you," prof Lester said.
Adam came and wrapped his arms around me.
"He was mom's friend," Adam said.
"Oh, I have met him at a campaign in college.

"Everybody the actual thing is that my son Aman is getting married next month," dad said.
", Oh, that's great"
"Next is you Adam" his dad points toward him.
"Only after completing her studies", he held me tightly.
I smiled at him.
Everything is perfect now.

"Umm, excuse us I'm take her somewhere," Adam said.
"Where?" Mom asked.
"Don't ask Vinita let them be" dad said.
"Mrs. Kapoor I'll take good care of her," Adam said.
We turned to leave.
"Use condoms I don't want her to get pregnant before she graduates" it was dad.
"Dad please!!!" I yelled at him.
Everyone laughed.
'He likes to embarrass me in front of everyone" I said to Adam while getting into the car
We reached the banks of that lake.
"Are we here to bonk again?" I asked jokingly.
"If you want then yes" he smirked.
"Pervert" I laughed.
He held me by my waist.
I look at his eyes there's no more pain in those pair of blue eyes, all I see is love and tenderness.
He pulled me towards him.
"We go together like biscuits and gravy," he said.
I laughed.
"Hmmm, biscuits and gravy I liked it. I smiled at him.
I pulled him downwards to me and kissed him with all my emotions and love for him.

This.....this kiss and this moment is ours forever.
