He went downstairs to nicks room and asked Matt to go to the store with him just to get a pepsi can.

-after they came home again

Chris ran upstairs with his Pepsi can and went straight to his room.

After that Chris heard something loud from downstairs and that's when he opened the pepsi and drink it.
