chapter six:bullies

I woke up to loud laughing and saw that Finn was no longer anywhere in my room I heard more laughter from the closet I slowly walked over and flung it open. "BOO!" Griffin shouted as he tackled me. "Griff! It's too early for that, where's Finn?" He got off and looked at me and ran away. "Ughc Griffin!" I shouted as I chased him down the hall he ran downstairs and into the dining room where I saw Finney enjoying some pancakes and mom cooking. "Oh you two are finally up, Finn woke up early so I decided to make food for you all sit down and eat." Mom explained sitting a plate in front of me and handing us the syrup and butter. Once I was done with my food I did the dishes and went to go get ready. I picked out a casual outfit and washed my face and brushed my teeth and tied my hair in a loose ponytail before going I went back downstairs.

I sat on the couch by Finney and Griffin while mom sat in her chair which was a few feet away from the couch. "Hey mom, can we go back to that park today?" She just nodded and continued watching tv. It was around 10am so we would be leaving to go pick up Gwen around 11am and finally be at the park around 11:15am I assumed. "Hey Finn you wanna stop by your house real quick so you can change and everything, and then we can go and get Gwen?" "Yeah sure." He replied standing up I did the same and so did Griffin. "Mom we'll be back soon!" "Okay be careful love you both!" She shouted back as we all three rushed out the door. Griffin and I sat on Finns porch waiting for him to get ready, once he was done we headed over to Gwens friends house to go get her. We knocked on the door and waited for a answer and not even a second later did a women come up to the door she opened it and stared at us with a questioning look. "Um is Gwen here?" I asked since the other two didn't say anything. "Oh yes she is, would you like me to get her for you?" She asked giving a small smile, I nodded and she walked away and Gwen came to the door looking a little annoyed. "What?" She asked us still seemingly annoyed. "We're going to the park, wanna go?" Finney said to her returning her tone. "Yeah!" She smiled, I guess she really did like the park because the just slammed the door shut without saying anything to her friend. We began walking and before I knew we were there. Griffin rushed to the slide again and Gwen followed they played together while Finn and I sat on the same swings. Gwen pushed Griffin down the slide and then went down right after him. I turned to Finn who had a slightly worried look on his face. "Finn? You okay?" "Huh? Oh yeah." I looked away slightly confused, I turned to my other side and saw three boys, one with like a mop for hair, a ginger and one other dude, they were all ugly. I turned back to Finn who seemed to have noticed them too, is that why was worried because of them? "Hey Finn, who are those guys? Do you know them?" I asked him slightly worried. "Yeah, they bully me at school and tried to beat me up once." He replied looking away from them and back to me. "What?" I said and I turned to them with slight anger and then I looked back to Finney. "Well trust me they aren't gonna do shit to you okay, I'll make sure of it." I said reaching my hand out to his, he grabbed my hand and stared at me and smiled softly, I smiled back and suddenly someone was pushing both our swings I turned around to see Griffin pushing me and Gwen pushing Finney we giggled and jumped off the swings. Griffin had noticed a hill behind us. "Grace, can we go to the hill there lots of flowers and stuff please!" Griffin said to me while point at the hill. "Yes yes come on!" I said to him grabbing his hand and we both rushed off to the hill laughing and Gwen and Finney followed. Griffin lied there in the flowers looking up at the sky, Gwen lied beside him and Finney and I stood there before I dragged him down and we lied there together. I giggled and turned to him smiling. He mumbled something but I couldn't hear him, my smile slightly faded and I raised my brow in confusion. "Huh?" I said to him with slight puzzled look on my face. "Huh? What nothing." He said looking back up at the sky as I scooted closer to him and he looked back at me. He stared at me with wide eyes and didn't blink for a while, we just lied there staring at each other, before we both heard screaming coming from the play ground we both jolted up and ran to back to where we were. Griffin was on the black top where those three boys once were but I didn't see them anywhere and Gwen was with him talking to him and they looked terrified, we ran up to them and I stared at Griffins knee he was bleeding he had skinned his knee and the black top looked like a murder scene because of all the blood. "Griffin! Griffin! Oh my god, are you okay? What happened?" I yelled in a panic Griffin was crying to much to answer, Gwen turned to me with worried eyes and a terrified look still. "Those stupid bullies!" She screeched, and continued on with, "Griffin was running on the black top because we were playing tag and then one of them pushed him down, and this happened I tried to get them but they ran, I'm sorry." She looking back to Griffin who had calmed down a little and I stood up with a angry look on my face. "Stay here and help Griffin, I'll be back." "Where are you going?" Finn questioned me as I walked away I didn't answer him because he would have most likely tried to stop me but I saw him helping and Griffin and Griffin just watched as I walked away. I walked down towards where we had come from and the only to get here and the only way to leave. I saw them all walking not far from where I was standing and laughing I followed them and and shouted. "Hey dickheads!" They all turned around and I punched the closet one to me in the face the other two tried to grab my arms and push me down but I kicked one of them in the stomach and I turned to the other one and punched him in the face, he fell to the ground and one of the boys came but behind me and choked me with his arm and I began kicking and screaming, and then suddenly I heard Gwen yell
"GET OFF HER YOU FUCKWAD!" She took a rock and hit him in the head with it releasing me from the boys grasp, I turned and punched him in the face knocking him out the ginger boy got up and I kicked him to the ground as Gwen hit the other boy and we ran back up to Finn and Griffin. We headed home and luckily mom was asleep on the couch, I took Griffin to the bathroom to clean up his knee. "There all done, you okay?" He nodded looking up at me. "Hey if I ever see those guys again, I will kill them, okay?" He nodded and hugged me. "You're the best bid sister ever." He said pulling away and smiling at me I smiled back and we headed down stairs and sat on the couch the Finney and Gwen. I really was going to kill those guys, Griffin didn't even do anything to them, and they tried to beat up Finney once? Hell no I will slit all their throats next time I see them, I swear. I hate them.

Yeah so in the next chapter, she kinda does stick to her word and A LOT of shit goes down so yeah.
