Chapter 1

It was Friday, October 5th

Violet's POV

The day I've been waiting for finally came, the day that they would announce who got elected to attend the ISFT, I pretty much knew It was me because I'm the captain of the math and science team, and my GPA is of 3.9, I also got perfect scores on the test that were made, which is really hard because only the smartest and the most brilliant people can get perfect scores on those tests, I gotta say I'm pretty proud of myself, and I will totally get that spot for the ISFT,the  only person who could have gotten elected that wasn't me was the devil himself

Chandler Riggs

the feelings that I get for him are a mixture of please make out with me and please kill yourself with a screwdriver, basically love and hate

No, I don't have a crush on him or neither like him, I actually don't like him at all, but he is hot as shit

He has a 4.0 GPA and is captain of the science team. and thats it. I have an extra for the math team, so technically, I'm wining on this one

But still, we've been fighting for 1st places even since 2nd grade spelling bee in which he won and totally laughed in my face, but I can't say I also never did that

That spelling bee was what changed our relationship as friends, our friendship totally bent over that day. And ever since, we've both been on war with each other until we got to 9th grade, in which they separated the girls from the boys

I remember that I had this giant crush on him once, I think it was 3rd or 4th grade, but then he became an A-class asshole and I totally ditched him when he started liking me

But well, back to the competition

To be selected, you have to go through 9 tests.9. and they were tough as hell even for me

I quickly snapped out of it and into the real world, which was English class for me at the moment, only 10 minutes more and We'll all be able to go to the auditorium for assembly 

Every girl is excited for assembly because the Buckner's were gonna be there, and the St Mary's loved the Buckner's, Thats exactly what happens in every girl-boy separated program, We only get to see Buckner's for really special events, like Homecoming, Winter Formal,Prom, Field Day and so

Buckner and St Mary's were in the same program, The MTA program, and for the ISFT only one student from the program could go

Only 5 minutes more until 5th period ended, I'm so nervous right now, If I don't get chosen, I'll also won't get chosen for Harvard and I'll never become a well known Psychiatrist, and I won't be able to afford Gucci purses

And all because of Chandler Riggs

"All students go to the auditorium" was heard over the speaker, I clapped in excitement and started putting my things away, I straightened my skirt with my hands and stood up from my seat, we all went in lines because my school was very strict and we had to have perfect conduct

When we all got down to the first floor, I quickly met up with my squad who were all in different classrooms, I'm the only one that's smart enough to be in advanced English

"Hey Vi, did you know you'll see your best friend today" said my friend Olivia while we walked together down the hall

The other girls from my group all began laughing because they were all informed of my hatred for Chandler Riggs, as well as the whole school actually

Being in the most popular girl group in school was not fun sometimes, but It could be really great also

We all entered the auditorium and saw the left side bleachers full of Buckner's, every girl stopped talking and tried looking as cute as possible for the boys, I looked at them as we passed to go to our side of the auditorium and only one boy cached my eye,
